Man this fight is amazing love the thematic battle between Grimmjow and Ichigo. Grimmjow says "im the king" which also parallels to Ichigo and his hollow remember the "king and his horse speech". We can see their philosophies clashing, Grimmjow as a hollow is animalistic and destructive opposite of Ichigo. Ichigo at the end had a stronger resolve which is why Grimmjow looked defeated at the end. Bleach is all about the thematic writing subtleties one of the many reasons I love it.
