Sooo... Because Sweden invaded Finland back in the day, it is still mandatory for everyone to learn Swedish from elementary school to university ... yay ... So since I'm doing an international degree, but I'm Finnish, I need to learn Finnish, English and Swedish in my studies... ๐ I like learning languages though... Learning Swedish just feels useless, so I would prefer to learn another language instead ๐

Is Swedish a required course to graduate there or more of an electorate? From the US where language courses are all optional
