Create a perf speaker grill in only a couple minutes

You might try beveling with one, to give you 4 vertices, then checker deselect and bevel with one again. Then you'd have to select the verts somehow and confirm to circle using Loop tools.

That's a good question. You can only bevel vertices in powers of 2. It might take a different strategy, perhaps using a Boolean array.
