Amazing walk-thru in Blender

At first, I thought I was watching a really nicely rendered EEVEE walkthrough. And it looked like the GI was baked as it typically is in UE or Unity-- so Wow!
Then, as I looked more closely, I saw a bit of lag and some artifacting I typically associate with Cycles-- and then it hit me. This is a CyclesX walkthrough! Running on a single Nvidia 3090. Very impressive. A full pathtracer being rendered in realtime. That's an even bigger Wow!
I expect the next generation of Nvidia cards will make the 3090 or even the newer cards more price available for users. Sure is a fun time to be playng around in Blender :-)

Yeah, I also mentioned he should sell the scene on BM. I wanted to see if he was doing anything special with materials or lighting.

I too was impressed with this video, I found it a few days ago and asked if this scene was available to test on my 3090 to see if the results were similar. He said the scene isn’t publicly available (yet). But he said if you have a 3090 and are using blender 3.1 the results should be similar pretty much regardless of the scene you test with.

Not much anymore. I used to *only* use EEVEE, but now with how fast CyclesX is and especially K-CyclesX (which I prefer as it's even faster and has great post effects), I pretty much only work with Cycles. It doesn't hurt that I have a 3090.

Wow! This is amazing. @Chipp Do you still using EEVEE in your work flow ? After trying K Cycles X and E Cycles X, I found Cycle is not slower with EEVEE anymore.
