I have read the documentation. My problem is not solved therein. The problem appears after a restart of Blender. By the Way my Blender version is 2.92 Portable.

May it don't work with BocCutter and HardOps? When i used it with this to addons activated. Then when i click update, these to addons don't appear where I put them. Also, the whole sorting is mixed up.

Think I have my simple tab working now, made the tab setup as when i had it organised correctly, powerbacked it up. When it re opened it had reverted, restored through powerbackup and the tabs organised as they were before, then saved as startup blend and the user preferences. Now when I quit and restart, everything is sticking as it should be.

We're adding an exclusions list. There are several addons that are incompatible with SIMPLE TABS, Hard Ops and BC are two of them. With the exclusions list you can turn off an add-on and it won't be shown in the SIMPLE TABS interface.

Also, Hard Ops, bc and some of machin3s addons are known to cause problems. We're working on a fix.

Also, I lost the Simple Tabs icon at the top (beside the HardOps icon). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Simple Tabs to no avail. Even with BC off.

Hi Chip, followed your troubleshoot link, set to factory prefs, and renabled only kit ops add on, hard ops, synth and Kit ops batch to minimize any offending addon . Once again, the tabs organise themselves but the moment I restart Blender its back to the way it was. Saved the file as a start up before closing down but same result. I'm running Windows 10 Pro, 32gb Ram, GTX 1070 Card

Yeah, Boxcutter breaks all the rules. It's one of the problems when you try and write these super elaborate and obscure GUIs. Just talked with masterxeon and he's aware of the issue.

Just went through and disabled all my addon tabs and re enabled them, Boxcutter still wants to be at the top under Tool and over Item. moving tabs into grouped tabs and renaming works great which is what I really wanted, otherwise tabs just get put all over the place.

Try disabling and restarting. Boxcutter is a known conflict and a BC fix will be out shortly. Try turning it off and see if things don't work for you.

I'm getting all sorts of goofiness going on in 2.91, creating tabs named Validation, unable to move tabs like BoxCutter (that brings up a python Error) tabs not showing in the order you have put them in, view tab will not move to correct position etc, great idea. Is there a way to reset the tabs? When I disable and re enable then apply refresh to the list it does nothing for reset/

Hey Guys, am I missing something ?, I've grouped my addons, renamed and basically reduced my tabs into a more manageable number but once exiting Blender and reopening the Tabs revert to as they were originally. I've tried saving as a startup blend, even power saved thinking the tab set up would stick but i'm still getting reversion back to the old tab setup.
