Update to Remap Material Images addon
🕑 Added 2024-04-07 22:40:16 +0000 UTCWorked with Anthony today to add some new functionality. The remap material images addon now reports how many dupe images it finds and it has another button to automatically delete them as well. Just install as a zip as you would any other addon but
FIRST REMOVE OLD ADDON (at root directory of your addons folder called cw-remap.py

Hi Chris! No that was only for textures, and that post actually reminded me that I heard somewhere that there was a way to do the same for materials :)

Yes. KIT OPS PRO has that feature. It looks at the names of the material and consolidates them based on the numbering scheme.

Great! I think you might have covered this before, but is there a way to do the same with all materials in a scene? Remove duplicates?
