Free Geometry Nodes Scatter INSERT
🕑 Added 2025-03-02 03:42:21 +0000 UTCI've been wanting to create this for some time and finally got around to it. It's a geometry node group called "cw_scatter" that provides a lot of different ways to populate a mesh with instances from a collection. You can populate based on slope angle, altitude, weight painting, vertex groups and do a lot more. It would be really good for populating trees, shrubs, grass on a terrain because you can have the snow at the top, grass on the lower flat areas, trees on the slopes, etc. I will also be using it to create some new sci-fi designs as well.
Anyway, try it out. The link is below. Just drop it into an existing KPACK. It will be the the DM-OTHERS KPACK in DESIGN MAGIC as well.
