Using live text as a Cutter INSERT

The problem with text is that you have to convert it to a mesh before you can do anything with it and it just makes things really difficult especially if you want to use a lot of different words and use Booleans to cut them into solids or add them to other objects and then once the text is done you can't really change the font or scale or edit the text or anything like that because it's already been converted to a mesh. (My third grade teacher would be so proud).
So, this INSERT (just put it into any existing KPACK you have) bypasses all of that because it's converted the mesh to a Geometry Node. BTW, I didn't mention in the video, but you can also use the solidify modifier (also part of this INSERT) to adjust the depth of the text, AND you can always use a bevel modifier on it as well if you like.

I like this one.....maybe a stupid question..... but is there a way to automaticlly offset the origin to the center of the text as well! Would be great for further displacement to use it on spheres.

Try it on blender 3.0. geometry nodes changed between 2.93 and 3.0

You solved the puzzle. I was actually dictating it into my phone and saw that it was this extremely long run-on sentence and didn't really figure out how I would best edit it so I just left it. Haha

For some reason when I bring in DM-solids (cube) after opening your blend file the cube turns blue and I don't see where to change it back to its original dark gray color
