Quick KIT OPS Cable INSERTS
🕑 Added 2022-10-04 19:35:10 +0000 UTCNote: Only works with Blender 3.3+ (Thanks to Douglas Crabtree for pointing that out)
Thousands of cables coming to your KIT OPS FREE or PRO. Just unzip and drop into a KPACK folder (or create a new one) and you're off and running creating a ton of these. Fun stuff.

Fabulous geo nodes setup. I've been playing with them for hair, via a great set of tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaaSpm7khjs. It's got a technique for braiding strands mathematically, which could also be applied to cabling to twist them around each other differently. Thanks for sharing these!

I really, really appreciated this one!

Thanks. Got it figured out. Misread the location of my other kits.

Excellent addition to Kit-Ops. Thanks Chipp.

You need to first unzip it. Also please understand the differences between Master folder and kaybacks. You can learn more about those at http://cw1.me/installkitops

Yes, as I say in the video that there is no intersecting business logic in this geometry nodes and in fact I don't think it's even possible.

Awesome as always! Thank you so much for all you do for the community! Are the cables supposed to be intersecting in places? Didn’t know that was by design or accident? Regardless it’s awesome! And love the ribbon style feature as well! (Technically that answers my question of then intersecting cables I guess)..
