Had a request to create a new EEVEE+Cycles brushed metal material. A couple difficult sticking points has always been easily changing the direction of the brushed texture, and creating anisotropic reflections. And, based on some earlier work on rotation shader groups, I was able to create a collection of brushed metal materials that are easy to apply with simple settings to adjust.
I'll be updating the EEVEE+Cycles Materials System and thought I'd also share the update with you here. If you don't have EEVEE+Cycles, no worries, just unzip and put the folder of materials in any existing masterfolder. For those who need help with masterfolders: http;//cw1.me/installkitops
NOTE: Anisotropic reflections only work in Cycles. EEVEE doesn't support them.
