Instead of burning in the subtitles in your video, it must be possible to add your own closed caption/subtitles to your YouTube video that people can elect to turn off or on.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering about that. I've had people tell me that it makes things much better and then I feel a bit like you that it distracts you from being able to see what's going on. Instead of looking at what's going on the screen you're trying to read the text. So, I can certainly turn it off when I generate the video but that doesn't really help those that don't speak English very well. Not to mention, I'm not always as clear as I should be. Still need to think about how best to handle this.

Thanks Chipp! I bought it anyway. Question: is there a way to turn off the caption on your video - I have problem concentrating on what's being said/shown while my eyes insist on reading the text flashing on the screen. Maybe it's just me. 🤨
