I think I know what episode your referring to, no matter which series it is in, that arc in particular it's pretty disturbing. Unfortunately when it comes to the original we got to know the characters involved and one set episode arrived it was such a shock. interesting fact is that the original creator did this on purpose because she was getting so many emails on how people wished alchemy was real so she wanted to show the consequences of powers like that existing.

Weiss Schnee

for some reason I thought the next episode was THAT episode but apperently not yet

Jon Dub

They are watching the entire episodes William, they are not skipping. But they edit the reaction videos to cut out parts a) Because their reactions may not be that great or entertaining and b) Because the owner of the FMA IP would probably take exception to them uploading the entire episode to Youtube, even in a small box. That's how you get take downs.

Wilhenro

I love you guys but you're cutting some really important stuff.

zadfgh22

Holy shit I forgot how much I love this show, so glad you guys are doing.

Nicholas Roca

Oh I was gonna watch one a week with them. I started to binge instead

Derek Wilson

Forever too soon

fun fox

ed...ward...ed...ward big brother ed...

Jessica Carter

I dunno if I can handle this only once a week. May need to binge watch the whole show first lol

Robert Quill

what a brutal way to teach kids that actions have consequences esp edward who's neck deep in guilt

I disagree in brotherhood every character was given depth and was important including the side characters. The first fullmetal left too many loose ends. Some characters stories were left in the air and some characters only existed to introduce concepts. The first fullmetal was less focused on telling a story and more focused on shock value and it suffered because of that. Also the first fullmetal could never give the story justice because it is its own original story and does not follow the manga.

Daga Luv

The first Full Metal Alchemist does this story more justice and has more character depth but Brotherhood is more focused on getting the main story told and not character stories.

I kinda wish they could find someone who knows the series to filter the comments and give them only the non-spoilery ones. Although... how many of our comments are all that interesting in the first place anyway?

Breanna

Smh Those fools lol

Raven McShan

When they said that this scene was disturbing. And all of us who know what's coming are just waiting.

DxShadow

Matis

Zane

the situation in the FMA world is sort of the opposite of what happened in Harry Potter. alchemy is established an inherently scientific art, no matter how shiny and magical it looks, and the world was able to progress much quicker towards that end. so maybe psychology could be a thing? god knows these kids deserve it

Zeemod

should be stated clearly that that spoiler is not canon to this version

ManicMeeks

Just watching Shane get emotional from the transmutation scene has upped the reaction anticipation for the other heavy FMA scenes!

Skeletor

Kinda bummed the guys won't read our comments but think avatar had so many spoilers but I have a feeling this won't have the crowd avatar does

Thilde

I LOVE how well this show balances humor and drama.

There's actually a reference to this show in the first ep of RWBY in Vol. 1, on the bookshelves behind RWBY in the store, there was a magazine with TRUTH on it with that white character on it. Also if you haven't figured it out, alchemy is all based on science. A bit of a spoiler for the first FMA: In the other version of FMA (the first anime) the story got to a point where it's revealed this world is a parallel version of ours that instead of steam technology advancing and alchemy was forgotten, it's the opposite.
