Yes I think he looks the part. I also love the actor, Luke Evans is great

Does anyone think that Mrs. Potts is really creepy in this movie?
No, the thing about Gaston is that everyone sees him as the most handsome man in the village. He is the perfect guy and he's really full of himself because no one comes even close to his looks and manliness. That's why he has an even bigger ego. Luke Evans captures none of that in my opinion, but maybe his performance will surprise me! I surely hope so.

Lumiere was the name of the candlestick and Luke Evans is perfect for Gaston

I'm just here to help Aaron remember who this guy is. He was Dracula in "Dracula Untold" and he was the villain in Fast & Furious 6

The Rock should be every character in every film...ever.
Christopher McBride
I always saw a young Bruce Campbell as Gaston. He is too old now, but around the time of the animated film, he had the appearance and the acting chops to pull it off, even though he was not as muscular as the animated character.

Toby Stephens is the name

I would have chosen the actor who plays Captain Flint in Black Sails, but Luke is a great choice nevertheless
