Death Note #01 Reaction Early Access!

Its blocked on YouTube

Samuel Rowan

I really want to see the full length reaction of this but even the workaround isn't working for me.

Justin_Bob

what were the poll chooses

FINALLYYYYYYYY haha ever since I found you guys I wanted you all to watch this

Narutoanime16

I knew this would win the poll lol

Alex Morelli

The same should be for other names that get translated in English, my name is Alessandro, not Alexander

Kali Mbata

Calvin's gonna have to resurrect "This Bitch!" just for Light

Megan Linart

Also I love the truck scene in this episode with the music. It gives me chills every time.

Twinnumber01

I can’t wait for you to analyze the crap out of these episodes. Your going to have a field day!

TbcAlex

But both shows aired weekly so they are watching it like most people did

GoldArthur

I'm only sad that this and FMAB only do 1 episode a week. They pack so much info into the episodes that they're going to forget a lot between weeks

Totally thought this was going to be Netflix's "Death Note"... Lmao

Kevin Jimenez

netflix already translates it. at least the part where he wrote the name of the guy on the news, and if I remember correctly there are other parts in the series where netflix translates the writing

Wesley Hale

They would make good gods of death

Greg Alan

The only member of Blind Wave I would ever remotely trust with the Death Note is Eric

Tina L

I am so pleased that they will be reacting to this show. I am looking forward all the discussion about justice, and which characters are in the right and which ones are in the wrong. I agree with Megan Linart, there won't be a lot of reacting going on during the show, but it is the discussion afterward that will make the videos fun and interesting to watch.

Megan Linart

The thing about death note is the dialogue and writing is really magnetic/hypnotic. When the characters speak and think, you are just so focused and almost silent. I could start to see that with them already. I'm glad you guys are invested. It only gets better! The twists and turns will make for some great discussion.

Andrew Reise

To Blind Wave: It is "Shinigami" which is Japanese for "death god". The name is Ryuk (with an "r"). For the Note you have 40 seconds to write a cause of death, and then you have 6 minutes to give more specifics about the death after specifying it. If you don't write anything besides the name in the initial 40 seconds then they will immediately drop dead of a heart attack.

Red Hood

You want me to buy you some ice cream?

It's a great ride, highly recommend it!

Yagami Light

Top tier content they will be reacting to from now on so hyped.

Blasian62

How are you guys watching this, Netflix? Would you prefer to be able to have all translations of the writing in the show such as when Light kills the guy on the news and the guy on the motorcycle? Check out these links. https://ibb.co/hBqQLb https://ibb.co/f1Defb I know you guys have access to this legally, but if you don't mind questionable legality since you already have access, and you have good protection on your computer, you can watch this on 9Anime which they include these translations for any japanese writing which will help along the way.

Raul Martinez

Thursdays are Vikings day and the upcoming Punisher Show, Thursdays are great.

Greg Alan

with this, their only weaks days (IMO) are Wednesday and Thursday. Every other day has great content :)

Miracle Holmes

my life is complete

Kevin Echeverria

Who's hating?

IrishNexus

They're releasing it for everyone as a kind of taster for the full length stuff, to give people a chance to try it out and encourage people to pledge that tier.

James McDaid

How come this video has a link to the full reaction? Isn't that for $10 tier? Or is it different bcause this has shorter episodes or something?

Cultured Degenerate

The dub for Death Note is better than the sub imo, so I'm glad you guys are doing it instead. Don't listen to the haters

Anthony Fontana

Generally not a fan of anime and was never interested in Death Note before, but the first episode intrigued me. Should be fun watching it alongside everyone.

Missy

Wonder how long before you guys realize the massive amount of symbolism in Death Note's op?

nick

Aaren would be unstoppable because noone knows how to spell his name

Death Note won, huh? Ehn, guess I'm running out of reasons to follow.

Can someone give them Death Notes to the crew so they can write notes in them.. *just notes no names.

Herberderber

nah, I hate that. People saying this is your name in my language. No it's not, they're two different names, call me by my name.

YES! This makes me so happy

Burooj Ahanger

Please add Sense8 to the next poll

IrishNexus

The Shinigami's name is Ryuk, just for reference

TbcAlex

It will be amazing

Blackest Hippy

1 week down, 36 weeks to go 😴

Dirty P

I haven't even watched the reaction yet and I already think I'm gonna cry. I'm just so excited for the crew. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEIR REACTIONS TO THIS SHOW! One of my favorites of all time.

Gevin Tipsword

Im very happy that they are happy watching this, thanks Crew for the wonderful and light content you provide

cade-carter

just scrub through the video the discussion is always at the end when the video drops away

From someone who voted for My Hero Academia, I am really happy they are watching Death Note. They look so invested, I love this!

Ashley Jamieson

Thanks for linking the full length in the desc. Much easier than searching for it.

Boyd Outlaw

FINALLY THIS SHOW YAY

Ashley Jamieson

If you write a name they die after 40 seconds of a heart attack. If you write a cause of death, you have a further 6 minutes and 40 seconds to finish writing the details of the death before they take effect.

Zane

I'm glad you guys are immediately on board! it's a fun ride on this one

Yay finally

JojoInSpace

Oh here we go, down nostalgia road. The opening song for Death Note was my ringtone for like all of middle school. I've never actually seen the entire anime though, only read the manga, but I loved that. It's not one of my favorites, but I have such great memories from reading it. This is giving me a really good excuse to actually finally finish of the anime and watching it along with the crew. From that discussion I can already tell that this is going to be a lot of fun.

Enzo Grano

So, is there no skip button to the discussion for people who watchted the full length?

Enzo Grano

Well, they are watching the show, so they heard/will hear the names. Dont worry.

Conner Simpkins

They're going to fucking love Death Note, I'm so excited.

Juniper

RWBY comes back Saturday! Hopefully they’ll still do that on tuesdays too. I want them to react to the trailer

cade-carter

i know y'all said u didn't read comments but this isn't spoilers. their names are Light Yagami and the Shinigami (shin-e-gami) Ryuk (re-u-k)

ObligedUniform

The longer they wait the more they can watch going forward without having to rework It when it comes back, into their schedule :)

Thilde

Does anyone REALLY hope they'll react to My Hero Academia at some point? I hope it's on the next poll. I think they'd love it: Eric and Shane especially.

Justin Montgomery

I like it when they react to things I've never seen before vs. things I want them to see. Now I have an excuse to watch something new and then I could enjoy their reaction of it. I tried to do the same with westworld, but accidentally watched episode 10 thinking it was the pilot -_-. I was so confused.

Selina

Oh boy, here we go. Tbh I´m a bit scared since I´m not convinced the guys will like it.

Sora

First Bitch. Finally the time is here!!!!
