I always cry at that final scene such a great combination of inspirational words, epic resolve, and touching music.
Even as a recap that final makes my eyes moist...

Just looked and it's still there for me. In the UK if that makes any difference. Episode 23 was blocked in the UK and had to be re-edited and uploaded and until it was, it wouldn't show up on their channel for me but was still on their playlist, which is how I found out it had been blocked.

Aww man.... I hate recaps :(

Can anyone else not see episode 26 on the YouTube channel? It's not there for me.

"We don't need to react to another episode" no please do, we would love it! Everything picks up from now on!
Meganclare7
I laughed at this reaction, people who have seen this before know why.

We did get to see a little of the past for Hohenheim. I think it's the best way to do a recap episode.
Cody Enos
My favorite part of any episode is when someone says "I'm confused"
Ashley Robinson
i never realized hohenheim is doing the thinking man pose
Bryce Nielsen
Oh jeeze, they did a reaction to a recap?! hahaha
So did I!

Ed only transmuted himself, and kept the portal oopen long enough for the others to jump through with him.

Buckle up guys, it's about to start picking up! I always love episodes like this, where it's an internal battle that someone is going through, the symbolism and the parallels through the story are always so interesting and allow for an interesting way to convey themes and feelings.
i love how they managed to put this ending at the end of this episode, or when ed meets Hoenheim in Trisha's grave, or when Ed tells Winry your hands weren't meant to kill, they were meant to give life, it give even more sentimentalism to those scens

No no... still do a reaction of the next episode right now ahahahahaha. This was just a recap episode lol
Eh, wasn't really an episode, kinda like a mid season re cap with a little action.

Ed and Al are probably his actual kids. They have the same golden eyes and hair.

The woman who asked Hohenheim to drink is Pinako Rockbell (Winry's grandma). In his dream, Pinako is like his subconscious, who keeps on encouraging him when he had doubts. While Pinako/his own consciousness acted like an angel on his shoulder, the Hohenheim with no glasses acted like his devil. The little girl who asked Hohenheim for a dance was actually Trisha (his wife). Remembering Trisha had motivated Hohenheim to continue on with what he must do.
Ugh! I have to make myself not type too much about this show on here, lol. But I love their reactions to all of it.
17:35 ... No. You can still do the next episode. We won't mind! :)

I'm not sure if I'm right but I like to think that the young girl that asked Hohenheim to dance was Trisha as a child.

Damn i forgotabout this episode lol
Yeah, the drinking and smoking girl was Winry's grandma when she was younger (she's so short now because this is an anime - so you have to use anime logic :)). The younger girl with the short hair talking to Hohenheim before the transition to Trisha in the field was just a younger version of Trisha. It's implied that Hohenheim met her at that age, and that it was the beliefs she expressed about humanity in that scene that caused Hohenheim to fall in love with her. Your other questions will be answered soon, but they're too spoilery to go into now :).
So if you don't get it, basically it's hoenheim wrestling with his conscience in a dream. And Pinako is winry's grandma, they knew each other when pinako was younger. Also eluding to heoneheim have being around for a while. But I don't want to say anymore as to spoil you guys. Just buckle up, from here on it shit gets real. 😎👍
