They talked about it on the latest podcast.

Griff

It's going to be done by the original creators of the show, so i am optimistic.

Hængeklumpen

it's gonna suck, if you think anything else you are mistaken

Vasiliu Vlad

Guys did you heard that Netflix wants to do a Avatar The Last Airbender live action series? OMG....!!!

Cat_Sidhe

There's still no excuse for all the random extra fluff words especially in the beginning episodes. If you compare the dub to the sub in the early episodes it's actually more vague. The sub is very clear and precise.

Kali Mbata

10:46-10:57 hold on to that thought

The Japanese title of the show translates to Advancing Giant or Advancing Titan, but translation mishap happened with the author back when this first started and they called it Attack on Titan lol

And kudos to the Levi squad's voice actors. They did it so well I think they even exceed the Japanese's. I really love the screaming in dub. (Not the titan roar though).

We all started out hating the Female Titan but as the story progresses, you will start missing her.

The English title "Attack on Titan" is actually a poor translation of the Japanese title "Shingeki No Kyojin", which means Advance of the Giants. So "titan" is not a place, but the titans themselves. A more proper English title should've been "Attack of the Titans", but Attack on Titan caught on. The show isn't Sci-Fi, but I can definitely say it has steampunk elements.

Going to say it now and will continue to say it. Please remind the crew to watch episode 25 ENTIRELY. Past the ending music, I mean all 25 minutes.

Sickleweed

Holy crap, it's been so long since I've rewatched this ep, actually teared up during the certain scenes, especially with the awesome score. One of the best episodes in the show, imho.

Sickleweed

Thanks, kinda sick of having to re-login every time cuz the page won't remember my login.

HybridThizzle

I like the dub screech better. Actually sounds like a Scream. The Japanese version just sounds like a dude yelling into a synth filter lol.

TbcAlex

Tbf, they watch the show once a week so that was almost one month ago.

Sahar

I mostly watch sub but other then the roar everything sounds okay .... the message is getting through and that’s basically what you need from a dub

Cat_Sidhe

YOU SAW CHRISTA IN EPISODE 18..... I fear for them when things actually get complicated.

Kal-El_138

How do you guys forget Krista or Annie, they're both memorable characters.

Juliane Ivanow

Right?

Joe Strong

Can't wait for the reveal in 2 episodes time

George Byrd

I can’t wait till season 2 do 6

Luccas Liuti

Man, the dub is ok, i can watch almost everything without any issues. But Eren's Titan voice just bothers so much. Who the hell tought changing the original Roar to a Screech was a good idea? Sounds like a kid throwing a hissy fit, not like giant monster.

TbcAlex

good*

Able

Putting that character sheet in front of them was a bad idea.

Koray

whats with the weird sound effect when eren is talking in titan form. He sounds like he has a throat cancer

VL

Actually can't cope waiting for the next episode. It's fucking glorious.

Angry bob ross

"sharrukin bitch!"-rick lol that was unexpected

Steffen Bauknecht

My theorie for the female Titan was always Armins Mother. Blonde Hair Check. Not killing Armin when recognizing check. And Armins Parents wanted to explore beyond the walls, so maybe they found something there?

Derek H

How so? I thought the voice acting was gine

Corey Hughes

This episode really showcases how terrible the english dub is...
