My Hero Academia 2x19 Reaction Early Access!

Selkie are mythological seal people from the Gaelic mythology. They live in an underwater kingdom and occasionally turn into pretty humans for a single day to come on land and interact with people.

as a British subscriber i found this funny XD

The nomu theory is strongly implied/supported by the author manga extra notes. Here's the link to the image to the extra note after the nomu chapter , https://i.redd.it/z027dr378lcz.jpg

Lmao! Rick MVP.

Able

You guys saw Manuals power! He’s a water bender!

Daniel Gonzalez

So while technically it didn't happen in the manga there's nothing to say this didn't happen it's actually pretty nice so far the "filler" episodes have just fleshed out the details on events we originally didn't get too much information on I liked it

Temi

Isn’t this episode filler?

Celtic, they are in both Scottish and Irish mythology and believed to originate in Ireland

Ryan Wojo

Tsu is best girl ❤️❤️

Do not miss the after credits scene of the next episode!

Yay I'm happy you guys reacted to this episode! :) Also happy to see you enjoyed it - I think the biggest take away from this episode for me concerning Tsu, is that even in the stressful situation, where the enemy takes a hero hostage, she is willing to do the 'right' thing to catch the criminal and ensure they do not get away and hurt civilians. The quick cuts to the other students was fun and great to see bits of what they went through too. I think he removed Bakugo's oversized (but awesome) barrel gauntlets because we've seen how reckless he gets storing all that nitro-glycerin. If he approaches things from a calmer level head, he should be able to take on villains without excessive force and endangering the people around him. Great episode and can't wait for the next!

He's a Navy SEAL. It's so stupid. I love it.

calaha717

Not my favorite episode, but glad you guys enjoyed it. Next week's is where the real fun begins!

Juliane Ivanow

Selkies are mythological creatures from Celtic mythology that look like humans on land but seals in water.

Juan M Aquino

Anytime I get to see more Tsu screen time is a blessing 🙌🏼

Danielle

ngl my excitement died when i realized this was the episoe being reacted to this week.

Ryan Hopkins

Not 100% filler, because there are scenes in the episode that are in the manga, like Uraraka's training with Gunhead.

Jake Z

Manual's quirk is some kind of water bending type quirk. We saw him briefly use it during the fight against the Nomus in Hosu City.

TB

This is a great episode. It’s technically filler but it’s got a lot of good stuff in it. We get to see Tsu in action (which is great because she’s awesome) and we get to meet this worlds equivalent to Aquaman.

GlamdringandOrcrist

Also, you guys are overthinking this whole “costume change”. It’s temporary

GlamdringandOrcrist

Best Jeanist Rick, not Blue, lol

Dale Denton

Selkie is a Scottish word for a sea creature.

Cody Kematch

People call it a waste of an episode, I just enjoy seeing more Tsu :D

Sky Sirak

Got two great Froppy episodes today. <3 Thanks, BW!
