That wasn't a reference to Kill the Moon. Kill the Moon wasn't even close to being written yet. It was a callback to their previous appearances in the classic series.

Tomi A

Me too. This is the only 2 parter in the Matt Smith era that I skip

MelGoethals

I was pretty surprised hearing Shane say this was his favourite 2-parter, maybe because I'm thinking of those yet to come but still whenever I rewatch series 5, I honestly skip these two?

StevenBrown

I'm trying to get Kevin back to this point in Doctor Who says he just doesn't remember, I think he just wants to slow me down, Doctor Who wise I've seen everything.

Nah, you're just a scalie.

Glen McCulla

It's not just me who thinks Alaya's hot, right? What would the term be for sexual attraction to a lizard? Saurophilia?

Matthew Rudolph

I went ahead and watched next episode again. And fuck me, I cried so tears of joy and sadness.

Isa

hah! aaron's smile!

SuperTallBird

Yeah, because you're wrong.

Anthony Wickizer

All this talk about the next episode, I am one of the few that doesn’t think it’s good at all. Hahaha

Doug C

Is it next week yet? ;-)

Brittany R

Same!

Jon Dub

Exactly right, you beat me to it. It's a British soccer expression when a game is tied or close right near the end. The last few minutes of the game are called "Squeaky bum time"

Hercule Pyro

Your opinion is significantly different from half the other comments :D Personally the one after it is one of my favourites.

The next episode is one of, if not my all time favorite. I don’t think I’ve ever made it through without crying

next episode too 50th is the best run of new who episodes, its my favourite period anyway.

JamesA

That subtle kill the moon hint hahaha oh god thank god there is a way to go

I still don't get why we had to suffer watching Mickey for so long when they get rid of someone like Rory just like that.

Same here. Every damn time.

Matis

silence will fall

KayleighJanette

If it wasnt for Rorys death, this 2 parter would be completely skippable. But next weeks episode... I dont think ive ever watched the next episode without crying at the ending

Nick Earl

Still think the episode is crap, but its very react worthy.

Not on TV he didn't. Don't know about elsewhere, but there could be plenty of Doctors. Only TV appearances in the original series are with the 3rd and the 5th.

Gezno

The 9th Doctor also met the lizard species.

Gezno

At times I can see where the Rory is the Master theory came from. Rory: Geothermal Gravity bubbles...or something. Suspicious Rory, very suspicious. The same thing could be said about what he said when he first entered the TARDIS.

Teek

HAHAH, glad Aaron dropped that future moon episode "yikes" look.

Tasker Thorn

Was thinking this during their moon formation discussion lol

Bryan Matola

I love you guys. So much, but it can get pretty cringey sometimes watching you talk about science.

Juliane Ivanow

Right? Lolol

Jack Warren

Next week is one of the best episodes ever !! Such a powerful and emotional ending. Can’t wait

Jen A. Blue

Rory death counter: 2.

Adele

Next ep though!!!!

‘Squeaky Bum Time’ is a term used in the UK where in a sporting event, it gets to the final minutes or closing the end of said event. Usually used in Football (Soccer) for added time. Mainly associated with Alex Ferguson.
