Lelouch's geass evolving only exist for that scene with Euphi andI cant help but feel like cheap writing how they deal with it later. Amnesia shouldn't get rid of his permanent geass. He's unable to turn it off.

This episode was sort of a soft reboot of the first episode because when originally airing the show was moved to a different time slot for season 2 so they wanted to not just start off from the the cliffhanger of the last season

They were so lost... Don't worry guys first time I watched this episode, I had to make sure in the beginning that this was actually a season 2 and not some spin off alternate reality type of thing
