It would be awesome if in Star Wars IX they use the Colossus to ram into a First Order ship, like they did in the The Last Jedi, and Rogue One

I think yes, but not as THE base were everything might take place. I think there might be something like a transmission in the movie like: "Colussus-base is safe and secure"

Also i hope if its not shown it at least gets mentioned. The new trillogy feels like they create concepts that the book and shows incorporate. Rather than the movies incorporating some of the things established in the new books/shows

If it is, its history would be briefly explained in the film without characters being directly mentioned, but being referred to as “Resistance agents.” At least, that’s my prediction.

Alex Damon from Star Wars Explained said a few weeks ago that the colossus looks identical to the sly strike academy( the station wedge was on in rebels before sabine rescued him) so do you think the colossus was under Doza’s command and he stole it when he defected?
I think so. I really want to see how big the station is next to other star ships - just seeing the Upsilon next to the high tower section doesn't give me enough of an idea on how big it is.

The Colossus being part of episode IX would be a great way to tie Resistance to the movie.
Never even thought of the possibility until yesterday’s episode, but I would love it if it was. It would be a really cool way to tie the show to the movies. And, after Solo I think anything is possible!
