Conor Murphy

oh fuck yea

Dale Cooper

FUCK YEAH!

Gaëlle

Cool little tidbit: Spike's fighting style is based on Jeet Kune Do, which was Bruce Lee's thing. And I'm glad this show won the poll, it's a classic. Hope you guys like it!

Oty Safiry

BEBOP!

Jocta96

Bebop is also a style of jazz, just so you know

Jocta96

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS THIS IS HAPPENINGGG

Yusuf

im sorry

Raadikins

This and Trigun are my childhood

Able

It's loved for what it did when it came out. Obviously now, if you take it as is, it's not as special. It still has beautiful animation and an outstanding soundtrack and a mastery of ambiance. However, in my opinion, Samurai Champloo is a better version of this show.

Hercule Pyro

In my opinion this anime is overrated, it doesn't really do anything outstanding compared to several more recent anime. The guys should enjoy it though

Eric, I'll slap bet you that you wont be disappointed at the end of the show.

Jordan Feeg

This show is amazing. They should consider Black Lagoon which is another bountry hunter anime after this series.

Heavenly Demonic Emperor

Right!!!!!

@Lady_Starshadow

To think, I saw this anime 20 years ago. While I don't exactly remember who recommended me this series, I do remember downloading this from DirectConnect and it took whole WEEKS just to find the right server with all the episodes. Aaah, the good but crappy old days. :')

MOB12

Someone should probably tell them that notes arent as necessary for this anime. Some parts are but because of it being episodic most things wont be recurring

Zach Kelley

Shane... either write faster or watch while you write. You miss several entire action shots to write information that won't be relevant in the next episode

Gavin

I think they would have done MHA when its dub starts regardless. Similar to how they started attack on titan season 3 part 2 when the dub started even though mob had taken its original Friday slot.

Damn the Nostalgia hit me like a fucking train, 21 years already fuck me time flies.

Davon Thomas

Also a lot of other shows will still return to have a second chance on future polls. They act like this is blind waves final anime reaction

Davon Thomas

The best part to this is...when this ends the dub of My Hero will be out. People were trying to pick animes that have over 25 episodes we need them to be ontime with My Hero. We can't delay it

Gavin

Man I wish it was steins gate or haikyuu :(

zezibesh

Not my favorite, but it's still a good show. I don't think I'll bother rewatching along though, but I hope the guys enjoy it.

As much as I love Steins Gate, you're makimg no sense blaiming people for choosing the classics. I mean holy fuck, it's a masterpiece! And yeah - I voted Steins Gate my 1st and still...

Charlie Henriksson

i wanted Haikyu :P but all of these shows are great so it was like a smorgosboard this poll, could not lose this one :)

Kevaughn Hunter

Awesome!

Waaat ?! Not Steins Gate ?? and out of all the other Good Shows they chose Cowboy bebop! Why God, Why :'(

Mr. Big Stuff

LoL the butthurt is strong with this win...Cowboy Bebop is great. Parasyte, Steins Gate and Gurren Lagann lovers be salty AF🤣🤣🤣.

Sahar

meh......

Hey, I felt that way about Cowboy Bebop for awhile now. “How can this older anime compete with all the hot anime?” But it did. If Gurren Lagann was on a poll, it means it was high on the master poll and if it continues to show up, it means it is doing well, just not winning *yet*.

Dale Denton

Was holding out hope for Steins;Gate, but I'm happy with Cowboy Bebop.

Juliane Ivanow

By the way, the soundtrack of this show wins at life.

Juliane Ivanow

YAYAYAYAYAY!! <3 Hope Haikyuu wins the next round. :D

Michael James Hudson-kohlmeyer

TSDS is a great show and would love to watch them react to it, if only for the fan service alone, though thats also why it wasn't my top pick.

Alejandro Gil

RIP. We will forever be second place

Nick R

No. It used to be that way but people would change their vote depending on which show was winning, which was unfair, so they changed the voting system to prevent that.

Dojee

keep these three old guys in mind

Woah, i'm surprised Bebop has won. And i voted for it! :D Based on the first episode i will guess the crew will like it.

Kaleo Mungin

STEINSSSSSSS GATEEEEE

Yusuf

Welp, at least this show isnt too long, for those wanting a different show. I also prefer haikyuu or gurren lagan but i guess ill try to watch bebop again. Always got bored halfway through though so we will see. Edit: anyone know how to see which show is winning in polls before the reaction comes out?

Steins;Gate was my first choice, hopefully it gets the next Anime slot that comes up. Cowboy Bebop was my 2nd choice on that list though and really looking forward to seeing them react to it 😁

Kaleo Mungin

Mob Psycho 100 will end first

Nick R

Hoping Parasyte will win the next poll. I just need Shane's reaction to that show, especially since he hates the titans lol

Kara59

First, anime doesnt even make up half of their reactions and second, why cut down on anime if that is something that the majority of their patrons watch?

Doofus

That look when they said berserk lol. Someday rick, someday.

Alejandro Gil

probably the episodic style

Ark

Although I don’t really like or enjoy cowboy bebop, I’ll still watch the reaction just because I love and want to support you guys.

i cant watch this show and i dont know why. I just never get into it i usually stop around the 3rd or 4th episode.

Teddy S

People complaining over which anime should have gotten picked and I'm over here by my lonely hoping we would cut down on the anime reactions :(

Maik Pfennig

I tried to watch Cowboy Bepop twice and couldn't finish the second episode each time.. dunno why but I'll gladly give it another shot

Erich Bomke

I couldnt disagree with you more. It might not be a great reaction show for you, but with the love these guys have for Firefly and fight choreography, this was actually the best option of the choices. This show is also far from overrated. Its deserving of every bit of praise that its gotten.

Alejandro Gil

How did you guys decide between steins gate and haikyuu knowing how much you love both 🤣

DarkJoker

Judging by the way the rest of comments look. I guess I'll never see Blind Wave react to The Seven Deadly Sins lol. Kind of glad that Cowboy Bepop won.

Erich Bomke

Rick doesnt sound at all disappointed with this one winning.

Semblance of Sanity

Cowboy Bebop is a great anime for BW to watch y'all. One of the most legendary dub VAs for the MC and a banger soundtrack. It's also basically Firefly the Anime, so there's that. They'll react to our favorites eventually :).

Cornberry

Same it's always my first choice but I'll bet Gurren Lagann beats it out first, I'd be happy with that too. I just really want them to react to Steins;Gate, I think discussion could possibly be interesting with that show even if they'll be confused sometimes.

Anq

Because every anime is just "more of the same"...

Brandon Hughes

Gravity Falls is definitely the show that should win. I get people go crazy for anime but Gravity Falls is incredible and not just more of the same.

Tressk

Bah. I was hoping for Steins;Gate but ah well. Maybe next time.

Matthew Knell

One day Blind Wave will pierce the heavens

Shit, I really wanted they to react to S;G, but whatever, next time maybe?

Going from one original anime from Sunrise to another original anime from Sunrise.

Mr. Spice

I was REALLY hoping for Gravity falls. oh well, just 26 weeks until we can do this poll again.

Herberderber

I am happy :)

Erich Bomke

YESSSSS!!!! Happiest Blind Wave Moment of the 4 years that I have been watching them (shoutout to the old channel!)

Jules Eris

Gurren Lagann will never win will it? :'(

ManicMeeks

YAAAAASSSSS THANK YOU!!!!! This was the anime that got me back into in college!

QwertyMan

I mean, it's preeeeetty popular lmao. When people talk about the greatest anime of all time like 80% of people will say Cowboy Bebop. I don't agree, but whatever.

Matthew Thacker

This will teach ppl to not reach much in Patreon comments on what will win a poll

Chris Skalicky

Dang. I was kind hoping for something that other reactors haven't already done. Oh well.

MOB12

Honestly pretty meh about this winning. It's just not a great reaction series imo and it's pretty overrated. But we will see I'll still be watching of course

TbcAlex

Cowboy Bebop is very mainstream

Mark Aragonez

Wow thought Gurren Lagann was a shoo-in

Vinay Madgavkar

How has this won over Steins;Gate and TTGL? Quiet majority vs vocal minority?

Anthony Lujan

What the hell out of all the baddass options this one won all you that voted have bad taste parsyte and beserk come on Rick has been dying for beserk and u guys keep letting him down
