Pretty sure every episode has this comment
Raul Martinez
Thats a lie.
Not only is Maya Hawke (Robin) Uma Thurman's daughter. She is also Ethan Hawke's daughter as well.
MustacheKash
@Johan well now I know your lying and u didnt even really look at the Wiki because the VERY FIRST THING that it says when u open the wiki is The Hawkins National Laboratory, connected to the U.S. Department of Energy lol
DonJimmy
The powerplant and the lab are seperate. The Wiki says the lab was established "as one of several national laboratories across the United States." And if the lab was the powerplant, then Hawkins wouldn't have power since the lab is shut down.
Remember S1E7 when Lucas is in the tree looking with his binoculars at Hawkins Power & Light, and he catches the HNL vans leaving to find the kids? That place was also the Lab.

Rick is so often wrong but his opinions make for a hilarious discussion. The power plant is definitely where the lab was.
ManaDuck
Well when I look up stranger things power plant the only thing I get is the lab so pretty sure either there is no power plant or it's a lab
Mten10th
Rick, you're wrong.
Bekah
Maya Hawke isn't just Uma Thurman's kid. She's the first child Uma had with Ethan Hawke (they met on the set of Gattaca)

This season gets amazing from this episode on. I'm beyond excited to see the next 4 reactions.

Thanks to Aaron, now I wished the Mindflayer got into a car and drove after our heroes. Like not a host. But the ACTUAL black smoke monster.
So good.
