Charlie is actually the dragon trainer. Bill is a cursebreaker. Not that it matters, lol

So I didn’t have the extended editions while watching this so that was a bit awkward but I’ve sorted that for the rest of the series if we ever get there. Thanks Eric for not making me feel like such a nerd

We read the first three or four books in school. read the first one when I was in grade 5

It was "Philosopher's" stone everywhere that the publishers didn't decide had ignorant readers. Mencken wasn't right, but that never stopped Rowling's US publishers from believing his quote.

It was Philosopher's Stone in Canada

They just straight up thought philosopher's stone wouldn't sell as much to an american audience than sorcerer's. That simple! :)

was going to see if I had this on DVD, but I only have Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner, Goblet of Fire and Half-Blood Prince.

Im still not 100% sure why they changed it to sorcerers stone in the US, can anyone shed light? Also as much as i am a fan of the books and films, i dont like JK, shes turned out to be a pretty bad person.

This was GREAT! I will never forget experiencing this on Thanksgiving night in 2001 with my family! Fun Fact This was the highest grossing movie on Thanksgiving Day for 13 years before Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 passed it!

Opinions are opinions, but the third game was a let down, and Andromeda wasn't great. I think it would be between 15th-20th in my rankings of video game franchises.
