One of my childhood movies growing up! This movie still haunts me as a child to go to the park just to see dinosaurs 🤪

When I was a kid my dad won a radio contest and we got to go to the premiere. I fell asleep during the stampede section, but damn if it didnt become my favorite film and holds the top position to this very day!

Yeah, Speilburg did have many things he wanted to add. A baby dino scene besides the raptor and a microceratops I recall. Maybe wrong but there was other stuff.

I thought the reason they didn't have extra footage, was that they couldn't get all the dinosaurs back to do reshoots due to scheduling conflicts!

Now this is one i and everyone can watch at the same time. If you dont have this movie you are mad. I believe the footage for every version of the dvd and blue ray is the same so you don't need the same copy since there are no deleted scenes or special edition. The different versions do have slight colour changes from the first cinema version as do the dvd and blue rays. Heck, I can get the film on Netflix.
