Next anime/animation poll is in december

Avalon

Man, I just...demon slayer? Really? If it was going to be a ufotable show I would have much preferred fate. But the fans have spoken. Only six more months till we try again...yay

Woodsie89

I've watched the first 3 episodes, so I guess I'm ready for you to start. Haven't really had the urge to binge it, so I may just watch it at the same pace as you guys.

Hobbes

It's just annoying that I've payed $5 for about 2 years now and it finally looked like the show I wanted them to react to had a chance to win but because a bunch of freshmen weebs screamed loud enough on Twitter they get what they want

Vexus

apparently it takes a few episodes to get going the vrew watching it gives me a reason to watch it so we shall see '

Domingo

Demon slayer best anime 2019

Was really hoping for for Steins;Gate or The Promised Neverland. Both series have tons of discussion points (perfect for Blind Wave) and both series are great to watch with other people. All while being a change of pace from the other anime they've been watching lately.

PengwingJack

Well, it is a really good anime with great animation, music and a good story. I can see as to why it is so hyped up by people, but I get your point too

Treevcore

While I dont mind demon slayer, I dont get all the hype. it seems pretty generic compared to some of the other shows on the list

Anonamai

I think Inosukes dub will grow on me. I’m actually excited the other VA sound really good.

Anonamai

Right! What does MJ sound like.

Carlos

From what I saw in the dub trailer almost everyone sounded perfectly fine (perfectly perfect with Johnny Yong Bosch) but man did Inosuke's voice not fit at all. Can't say I'm much of a fan of that VA to begin with in the few roles I've heard him in.

Nick

If nothing else its only 26 episodes. We will get to see plenty more.

Artur Vegis

I mean, people are always hyped for recent anime, but I think Parasyte the maxim would be perfect, theres so much to analyze and the anime is so unpredictable too it would be fun to hear them discuss hypotheses etc.

The Pebble

tbf I never thought fucking Kirito from Sword Art Online would be such an amazing Inosuke voice in the sub lol.

KasaiKouhai

many of the voices have already been announced and you can inmediately tell that eren's dub voice doesn't fit inosuke

Sojtus

Sure. Though even if it is an anime people would care about "til the end of time", it is still best to do reactions while it has most active following and is more relevant.

John FD Lobrano

The dub trailer mainly

Shockzz1234

Th dub ain't even out yet lmao, how can people lambast it?

Shockzz1234

For real, i love Demon Slayer, but i've been wanting them to react to Gurren Lagann for soooooo long. It's a perfect show for them.

HybridThizzle

That's when you know they're just being elitist because the first episode of the dub hasn't even come out yet. Absolute scumbags.

TbcAlex

Sub elitists are always going to hate on the dub, no matter the quality

Sebastian Ramirez

Not much you can do when people vote for the shows themselves

John FD Lobrano

I’m slightly apprehensive at the dub as SO many commenters are lambasting it. But I hope it won’t ruin any of the show’s great moments.

Conner Simpkins

I watched the trailer for the english dub, all their voices sound really good and fitting.

TbcAlex

Yeah we will get them at some point, they are not stopping reactions any time soon

Cadmus Lochlan

^ Exactly. Thats how we got death note and fma Brotherhood and code geass. Cowboy bebop.

Hobbes

Look I’m annoyed at the recency bias, been waiting on some shows for over a year. But hopefully the people who want you guys to watch DS have a good time

Yuion

at some point we will get to all of them so dont worry

ManicMeeks

ABSOLUTELY! I can't wait hear it. Especial the big baddie....I don't wanna spoil anything. But especially that person. They have Johnny Young Bosch! I am way here for it. I usually prefer dubs to subs because I do other stuff while it's on.

Julius

Yea but are you ready for it DUBBED? 😱

Conner Simpkins

Cowboy Bepop is almost over, then people can vote for one of those anime. Or, even The Promised Neverland.

KasaiKouhai

as much as i love demon slayer, i hope the crew watches those three in the foreseable future

ManicMeeks

I'm definitely ready for Demon Slayer! It's just so damn good.

Dimas Anindito

@TbcAlex If an anime is good enough, people would care about it til the end of time. Just like Fullmetal Alchemist and Code Geass.

Dimas Anindito

Okay. I like Demon Slayer and all (and anything ufotable), but this channel really needed a Steins;Gate or Gurren Lagann (or even Fate;Zero). Maybe even Evangelion. Anything that's classic or non-shonen, and I personally don't think KnY is influential enough for that. Congrats to those who wanted KnY on.

TbcAlex

Better to do Demon Slayer while people still care about it, no?

YYZHawk

Man this recency-bias hype train is annoying as fuck. Let other shows have the light of day, if you keep going with what's "hot" you won't get the chance to experience some true gems of anime out there. This was their chance to watch something like Steins;Gate or Gurren Lagann. But flavor of the season prevails. Demon Slayer is amazing, I just don't think this was the time for it.

BK456

It’s a good show and it’s worth watching. I just wish more non-shounen shows would win. Going to be three of them going at the same time when MHA starts airing again.

Sebastian Mauritzell

GRIIIIFIIIITH!!!

MOB12

I'm super hyped for Demon Slayer its gonna be a great ride

TbcAlex

Aaron said on the podcast he might not be part of it

Melissa Dawn Hendsbee

I AMM!!!!! the soundtrack and visuals are amazing, i really hope the 5 guys react to it and no one drops out due to alot of other shows coming back, lets go!!
