Unfortunately they separated in 2010, during season 5, and divorced in December 2011. Amazingly they continued in their roles through 2013. Towards the end of filming season 4, Michael is visibly ill and he discovered he had cancer. He received chemo between 4 and 5 and wore a wig throughout season 5. He won The best acting Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award and accepted them wearing a knit hat covering his head, but he had no eyebrows. : (

I've always wondered what Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were laughing about as they danced at the wedding. Maybe they were saying, this isn't such a bad idea, let's elope". LOL They eloped not long after this aired, on Dec 31 2008.

Yuki Amato came to Deb and said "You told Quinn he was under investigation. Now, they've closed the case" this is when she told Deb that Quinn was responsible for another officer's death.
