She will definitely figure out that he is not in phantom zone and in the process she will also see that he is with Lena and that will shock the whole team and they all will confront Lena about what she is planning and she will release the Betrayal Bomb on Kara and that is going to "Super" cool.

In most superhero shows and movies there's always one loose thread that the main villain, in this case Lena, overlooks and this one is Kelly
Yes, I think so. It seems like too big of a thread to be done with after a single episode. I think it has to come back at some point. Maybe it will tie in the back half of the season after we’ve dealt with Leviathan for a little bit and Crisis.
