Not really anything to do with this poll but, ya here in the uk got spoiled about the cyberman as the BBC put out a tweet saying there would be a surprise in this episode, didn’t take much figuring out after that

I think it's the doctor, it could be like something Peter Capaldi talked about as the doctor once, a bootstrap paradox. She may need to send it back so she knows to come in the future.

Capt. Jack said the alliance sent this thing back in time and the Doctor mustn't let the lone cyberman get it! Inthink that has to be the Cyberium. The Alliance? may be what's left of (or a new) Torchwood/ a new Unit/The Timeless child and Galifreyans (who have not been destroyed but found somewhere else to go!!) Is this idea too out there! do you think?

Jack already said in episode 5 that ‘the alliance sent this thing back through time”. I’m assuming this “thing” is the cyberium. Side note, the Cyberman holding that baby and saying “don’t be afraid, you will be like us” has got to be one of the top 10 creepiest Doctor Who moments ever. Although, I gotta admit, I kinda wanted to see what a Cyberbaby would look like.

Jack said something like "the resistance sent this thing back in time to stop them" so im fairly sure it is them, now who are members of this "resistance" might be the interesting thing...

I'm betting it won't be deeply explained. The Cyberium seems to just be a Mcguffin to move the story along, and I'm fine with that. I'd rather have more story/screentime with Jack than explaining every detail of the Cyberium.

I agree. I just wonder if we already know who the resistance are? Could they be characters returning from previous seasons? (Although admittedly, I have no idea who that would be.)

Its probably the resistance mentionned by the cyberman. And they are the alliance Jack talked about.

I think it was this 'Alliance' that Jack refers to in Episode 5. Wondering if we'll see them at some point, or if they were just a throaway for the Cyberium to come into the plot.
