Yep. Most people trying to defend Oikawa rn are probably aware of all the scenes later down the line that give his character more depth. Let's just wait and see what she thinks when it's all laid out

Give Maggie time guys. I reacted to the Sub and wasn't purely on board with Oikawa until Season 2, You lot complaining have seen the show and know the ins and outs of his character at this point. Don't push your own thoughts and feelings about something onto others before they have even had the chance to see the change in his character. He was purposefully written that way. He isn't supposed to be likeable because why else would you care if Karasuno wins? There is a reason why Aoba Johsai is considered their greatest match. You need to learn to be patient. The show will bring him round when it is NECESSARY. Chill out.

The dub did a pretty bad job but the hate Oikawa's given by Maggie definitely isn't justified still. He's one of the very best characters, and players, in the entire show! He definitely knows how to set for every individual player while Kageyama DOESN'T. He only knows how to set to Hinata while he's lacking with the others, just as Oikawa said. Oikawa can see what kind of tosses they need just by observing, how impressive is that?! I'm sure they would've understood him better if the show had followed him and his team a litte more, like Karasuno. This show definitely wouldn't be as good as it is without Oikawa.

Oikawa is one of the best characters out there! He’s just good on what he does with passion but not evil! I hope you’ll like him!

I'm surprised, most reactors love Oikawa when he is first introduced. I didn't really like him till later episodes, but this is the first time I've seen a reactor also not like him.
