Hunter x Hunter #78 Reaction - Early Access!

Pucki

Aaron: "RUN THEY ARE COMING" i was laughing so loud x) btw if you remember the hunter exam from the final contestant only killua and the old guy failed so yes you saw the archer pass the exam

Firestormwalker

My dumb ass thought of Phoenix Wright when he brought up Marcus Phoenix at the end there.

Garrett Gee

Lol at least we know eric will turn mega fan boy when the king is born.... insert DBZ reference here eric.

Lawliet

You’re right, it’s still early and he can change his mind later in the arc but based on what we saw and heard from him watching different shows, I think and I might be wrong that he’ll hate them until the end lmao and that’s why I like Aaron who brings a different point of view with more empathy and understanding.

Man people in these comments are so impatient. Expecting Eric to emphasize with he man-eating bugs at this point in the game. I shouldn't have to remind you all that this is the longest arc in the series and the worst has not even come yet. Have some patience.

Lawliet

He is always like that, a little bit annoying but he is also the one who brings like he did in this episode (or in The Promised Neverland and in general) a different perspective, another point of view while Eric and Shane hate the bad guys no matter what, without trying to understand them or empathise. That’s why I’m conflicted lmao, he talks a loot but he has interesting thoughts and points of view.

Drzergberg

It is going to be a long time coming. Looking at over a year to get to the end of this arc.

I can't wait for them to get further in!

Yes! Her arc to shine!

Insecure Classroom

Awe Ponzu! Best girl. Expect great things!

Pucki

A good Story evolves and a good Villian isnt just bad but has motives to do so these Ants are the only one of their species and they are fighting for their own survival which is brilliant because in our world Ants have the most complexed society beside humans. The discussion at the end was great you maybe hit some future plot points there :D

Vu Bui

And Eric did fking call it guys!! Please someone call the police, this guy right here can sense it all!

Esteban Morales

Eric sure loves his Awooooooo

He says that, but you can definitely see that he’s enjoying it Story-wise. These are some of the best discussions they’ve had the entire show.

yooin

aaron was so annoying this episode, he talked so much

Alejandro Gil

This is an awful take lol

Yeeah this is where the show stops being HxH for me... Silly looking "ants", betrayal of many of the things that made me like the original cast, lack of the original cast, focusing way too much on the ants, mixing silly and serious in a way that just doesn't work for me.... I could go on but let me just say that it says a lot that the author started drawing the manga like initial draft scribbles when this arc started.

Alejandro Gil

HE gonna double down

Cadmus Lochlan

Either this will be an epic reverse of emotions or a double down stance by Eric. I can't tell which would be more enjoyable.

Vu Bui

"I hate this arc" - Eric 2020. oh boi. you'll never know what is coming Eric. Pretty sure at the end of this arc you will be loving this as one of the best shounen.
