Attunement isn't an issue as long as the item can attune to the class and race. Item upgrades depend on the items wanted above the allotted slots to keep some form of balance

He said as long as I have some common and uncommon items I can sacrifice multiple slots of lower tier for one of higher tier. I am finding out the stipulations on it. Also asked about attunement since this is a level 12 character. I have found a for items that I am thinking of using. Like the scimitar of speed to gain an extra attack as a bonus action and illusionist bracers to double cast the eldritch blast cantrip

That's a lot of items lol, and will have to juggle assignment vs non-attunement. I'll see if I can figure out a full list tonight

So I want to build this for a friend's Campaign. We are starting at lvl 12. He is allowing us 5 common, 4 uncommon, 3 rare, 2 very rare, and 1 legendary item(s). What would be some of the options you would suggest. I thing wand of fireballs is going to be one of my rare items to simulate the new Getsuga Jujisho.
