"Precisely why I’m the perfect backpack," Sssylvia smirked, resting her chin on Armanthe's head. "Now, trot toward that apple tree. I’m hungry."
"If I trip, we’re both going down," Armanthe warned, hoofing forward. "And neither of us can catch the other. It’ll just be a very pathetic pile of horse and snake."
"A majestic pile," Sssylvia corrected. "Now, mush!"

The centaur has the advantages in this situation. She can sit down faster than the lamia can coil. So, the lamia feel the pain first
