Great question: I would start with the redish tones for the belly, airbrush the brighter from the top and then use reddish, purple inks, shades, or oils for the recesses and a bit of brush rework for final highlights then :)

How would you speed this up for standard kroot? Airbrush the purple and maybe bit of the highlight as well?
