ExperiArch v0.4 update news - Forge [1.19.2]
🕑 Added 2023-04-01 05:12:55 +0000 UTCHey guys! Another month went by and my first full month in Japan and I must say I love staying here more every day. They say that initial hype wears off after a few weeks but that didn't really happen in my case. I'm seriously considering a longer stay! Been busy going around the country and places around Tokyo but at the same time I spent the rest of my time working on this mod and my other project as much as I could.
This month I'm bringing something I wanted to make for a while. Carpets! And good size ones that is. First take on carpets didn't work out as I imagines, especially when placing multiple objects on top of them. So I'm now making a new approach where I'll be able to make much nicer and bigger carpets with more controlled placement.
Secondly I'm adding new nightstands to ExperiArch with much more realistic clutter placed on top of them. I'll be adding variations of each so you can switch between them.
I may come up with something else if I have time. I got so many ideas recently what could be done with this mod!

it works, albeit not fully. For example, reflections and lighting won't work for mollyVX unless you make some custom emissive files. Complex models also might fail to render, but I haven't tested that yet

Does this mod work with other shaders such as MollyVX?

I will do that but in time, I have other updates planned before that. I saw the bugs and will take a look. Some bugs like that randomization may break when switching versions because the way these things are scripted may be changed.

looks amazing! I have an idea of what you can do: since we already have bathroom block overhauls for experiarch, why not add some realistic wardrobes/closet blocks to experiarch? also, consider taking a look at some of the bugs that I pinged you about yesterday. That aside, great work as always!
