A good shounen for me was never about the flashy fights. This is why I love One Piece man, the emotions that we had to go through. We laugh, we cry, we gasp.. all in one arc. Going Merry was the best amongst us all. A true nakama. I wish Kishimoto writing is as good as Oda. Naruto could’ve been my #1.. but sadly at the end of Shipudden he didn’t stick the landing. Pain arc was good though. But here we’re looking at Oda giving us movie level tier story-telling week by week.
