Jessica Rocha

My family would agree with you, but I just really enjoyed it! Steven Yeun (Glenn) , i loved watching him in this! Loved his wardrobe 😂! Have you watched beef yet on Netflix, if not u should check it out.

Célia Boisson

Yeah for some musicals !! But maybe they've already seen a lot.

Konrad Knaup

Maze runner was fine, but it‘s not like it‘s a masterpiece. 7/10 at best. Especially part 2 and 3 are just utter garbage

Mike Drop

You know this is a community of adult children when Wall-E leads the Sci-Fi poll.

kimburley

I look at the leaders on this poll and many other polls and see that so many really great movies are being not voted for because I believe many here have not seen them. Because if they did, they would have more votes. Instead, the main stream wins out the majority of the time Hopefully, one day Rob and Trin will get to those less voted for.

Jordan Tanner

I’m being a jerk, then. I’m sorry. Transformers will be fun! We all have movies that hit us differently. That’s cool to have your movie doing well in the polls! We’ll get Dune through soon enough. Was hoping to see it on here this month before part 2!

Wesleybucks

Oh wow. That shot up since I last looked

Cindy

Yes, Rocky Horror Picture Show is an experience. I also like 1776.

Kim Magee

Me too

Anatol

Actually more surprised than upset. Transformers has a 85% RT audience score and a slightly better IMDB rating than Maze Runner, so I kinda expected it to be successful on this poll. I personally think both are not great, not terrible - but also both some of the weakest on this list. (Also back when I posted this, Transformers was quite far behind I think)

Kim Magee

I haven't seen snowpiecer, dune was good, didnt like everything everywhere, but it did well, soooo just my taste, I put transformers up lol, it's a fun film to me, I love bumble bee

Gabriel

I’m fine with maze runner, the problem is transformers lol

Gabriel

I cannot believe there’s so many transformers fans lol

Gabriel

You’re more upset about Maze runner than Transformers? Really?

Gabriel

Me, I’m upset about transformers lol.

Konrad Knaup

It‘s insane

Kim Magee

Yeah the votes prove that 😀 both great films imho

Gabriel

Dune losing to transformer is even worse lol

Gabriel

I can’t believe transformers is top 4 lol

Gabriel

That’s your opinion, fact is that a LOT of people love Wall-E

Kim Magee

There are so many good ones even like sweeny Todd and les miserable, mama Mia, rocky horror

Gabriel

Seriously??? So many good movies in this list, and Transformers will carry on to the final poll??!?

Kim Magee

Hamilton was great, very long though, I need to rewatch as missed a lot with the speed of the songs

Kim Magee

All great films

Bradley Weeks

I keep hoping for Hamilton!

Jenny Lee Villanueva

Yes!! I wish for them to watch Hair, Chicago and Moulin Rouge 💜💜💜

Bradley Weeks

I would like that too!

Bradley Weeks

I would also like to see them try a few musicals. I've suggested a few but they never get enough votes. I'm not sure if they would ever make that a category for a month. I think that's the only way it's going to happen.

Jordan Tanner

Nooo sigh. 😂 We have some amazing films on this poll—Dune and Everything Everywhere All At Once are some of the best films of all time. Snowpiercer is amazing too. Transformers doesn’t hold a candle 🙃

Kim Magee

Personally I don't think Avatar 2 is going to get in anyway but they should consider it for their extra movies because they loved the first one and two is definitely better than the first film

Kim Magee

Liking loads of the choices, hoping they will give musicals a crack at some point so many greats, they prob think they will suck, but planet of the Apes looked lucky too

Kim Magee

Sadly doesn't look good 😞

Kim Magee

Good sigh or noooo sigh

Kim Magee

Ryan is always hilarious

Chris Goodwin

The adam project has Deadpool\Ryan Reynolds level of comedy !with SIFI sprinkled in. YOULL LOVE IT

Ty linn

wall-e should not have more votes than maze runner imo. Top sci-fi film in a while

Jordan Tanner

Transformers...sigh lol

Taryn Clay

LOL so did I

Kim Magee

I love that wall-e is doing well

Cameron Chambers

vote avatar wall e is overated

jeendus

streamable link videos are sped up or am i the only one? and sync ones are always buffering on my end

Alyssa Dyson

I'd be happy with any of these movies. Scifi is my favorite genre...buuuut Im still holding out for Dune lol 🤷🏼‍♀️💜

RuinFox

I know right? going to be a great month 😊

Kim Magee

I love Jordan peele but this was one of his I didn't like, and it had Glenn in it :( so thought I'd love it

Zach Faulkner

I guess I don't see the need to do this? I'm not sure if you are saying because you think recency bias leads to newer movies winning or saying that older classics have an advantage because they are well known and beloved. But either way to be the best, you got to beat the best. So yes you can maybe give a certain era of movies an easier 'first round' by putting it against similar movies of that era, but then they just get smashed in the next round.

Dylan Paschall

soo many good ones on this list

Konrad Knaup

I can‘t belive that district 9 is seriously lower voted than transformers.

Anatol

That is actually a valid concern and I'd not be surprised if R&T would consider that in future rounds.

Miroslav Blabla

Yeah, The Maze Runner is okay :) I am surprised that The Maze Runner has significantly more votes than Divergent, they seem pretty similar to me.

Uga Engelhart

Damn. I can't believe Dune is losing to Maze Runner. Don't get me wrong, Maze Runner is a fun movie, but still sad to see. I hope Dune manages to squeak it into the top 4 anyway.

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

Star Trek 2009, all the way! Please! Please! Please! Heidi

Anatol

Usually there are two (sometimes more) polls and the FOUR winners from each poll move on to the next poll(s). Since there are only four final winners that is a good way imo and every movie has the same chance to win. If there are more suggestions there are multiple polls and then a final poll with the FOUR winners from all previous polls.

Scarlett Monrow

I wish you would separate the movies a little by year of productions. Mixing in brand new movie and older classics is not the best idea.

Jack's World

Is it possible to do a few rounds of voting & not just #1 from each poll :/?

traverse

I was 12 when Cloverfield came out, im 27 now bu,t my god. Amazing movie, I saw it in theaters with different friends 3 times! If it doesn't win I highly recommend it for the future. Maze Runner and District 9 are also incredible.

Jenny Lee Villanueva

Everything everywhere all at once, Adam Project, Lucy and Wall-e for top 4 but practically 95% of these I'm eager to see their reactions 💜

Kamanda Hickey

Well the Fifth Element is definitely not gonna win but you should watch it on your own. It’s amazing and pretty funny as well.

Jenny Lee Villanueva

So many choices 😜💜💜

Michael Brown

Funny that so many people are upset about The Maze Runner. I’ve been putting it in polls and suggesting it on discord for awhile now. And FINALLY my suggestion won. And that’s coming from me who loves thought provoking, incredibly dark films such as DUNE, Donnie Darko, and The Butterfly Effect. Not everything needs to be so serious and depressing. After them finishing Harry Potter, Planet of the Apes, Arrival, and currently watching through DARK, I put maze runner in the polls for something more “lighthearted” and a lot of fun to watch. Clearly people are excited about to because it seems to be winning. Nothing wrong with fun movies where you can turn your brain off from time to time. Plus Wes Ball (director of all three movies) is directing the newest Planet of the Apes movie as well.

Kaylee Smeaton

Come on Avatar

Shabaqo

This list looks like a win win everything is great

Cindy

My top two are I, Robot and Signs. I do love Sci-Fi, but I also prefer my Sci-Fi with a blend of mystery and action and on occasion, some comedy. Wall-E and Maze Runner are great...if you are a pre-teen.

Danielle Luke

Songbirds and Snakes was Way better than it had any right to be.

Jessica Rocha

I thought Nope was pretty good. It was different.

Florian

Have you seen „The Martian“ and absolute must watch for you guys, I promise you will love it! My vote goes to Star Trek then :)

Anatol

One of my *very* few votes in this poll.

Anatol

imo it's Donnie Darko. One of only 10 movies I rated with 10/10. And yeah, that's how opinions work but looking at the ratings for Maze Runner (IMDB, RT) that one was still a surprise.

D. A.

Whats the best?

Chris Reed

Butterfly effect is so underrated

Phantom

wall-e

The Goateed Geek

And I realise its almost impossible to have a list includes everything :-)

The Goateed Geek

cool

Take a Ticket

all of the second part of the list we have not seen as far as I can tell

Anatol

12 Monkeys and Contact might show up on the second poll (both had enough likes, not sure if they have seen it).

Anatol

So many votes for Maze Runner while the best movie on the list (imo) has the fewest votes (right now). That's... interesting. -_-

Jayden Jones

i really hope maze runner wins not just bcuz i like it but also to piss ppl off who don’t want it to win

The Goateed Geek

These may be in the removed films as already seen, but I would have added Brazil, Metropolis, Moon, Stalker, Forbidden Planet, 12 Monkeys, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Either version), The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), War of the Worlds (1953), Silent Running, Dark Star, Contact, Akira, Soylant Green, The Andromeda Strain, Quatermass & the Pit, Thing from another World, Westworld (1973), Fantastic Voyage, The Myysterious Island.
