Was carol the one in the trailer when negan rode away on his bike? I thought I heard someone say “ed” but I wasn’t sure

this episode rocked me man. so much info to process at once. i fell in love with negan as a character through this season and then they amplify that love here but then SNATCH it away like haha jk he was a jackass husband. they do a great job showing how good and evil can exist in one person. rollercoaster.

One of my favorite episodes! And I usually don't like flashback episodes. We've got one season to go! Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the first 1/3 of it. But I felt it got better later.

So so happy to see all the love for this episode. The performance between JDM and Hilarie Burton is so natural and beautiful. It was the perfect casting.

Absolutely awesome acting in this episode! I was very surprised to find out that the actress who played Lucille really is JDM's wife! You are right. The chemistry was already there and it feels so authentic.

Having Jeffreys wife Hilarie play Lucille was a stroke of genius - especially considering Covid restriction was strict as hell. You may or may not recognize her from One Tree Hill.

Angelina Sargent

Also just a note... I think carol understood once maggie came back into the picture she couldn't guarantee negans safety in the community anymore. That was the big change that happened since they had their arrangement before breaking him out of his cell.
