In one fell swoop both "leaders" of each side lost their wives/loves. Governor Rogers lost Eleanor and Pirate King Long John Silver lost Madi.

RIP to the estranged "sisters" who reunited in war on opposing sides and were both lost as a result. This episode is simultaneously so fun and so hard to watch. I know Billy's words are ringing in John's head even as he tells Flint it's not his fault about Madi.
