I LOVE how Daryl doesn't hesitate to pick Maggie's side and immediately points his gun at the soldiers when the they pull their guns in Hilltop. He tried hard not to blow his cover but he will always protect his family no matter what.

👏🏼 Huge round of applause to Bear McCreary for the bangin composition in this episode!! The drums @ 14:00 elevated that scene soooo much!! 🤣👂🏼💕 just a eargasm of fantasticness!! 😢 Ugh I can't believe we are so close to the end. R&T pay attention in these last episodes to the amazing music and sound Bear brings as we approach the finale. Such a treat 💯 OH!! Also make sure to not skip the title screen/intro of the finale. There's a lil something special he did as a farewell 💞🧟‍♂️ (Also Rob, Mercer did mention after reading the "welcome to the commonwealth" thing in the train car that he went to West Point, like the most prestigious military college in the States so he definitely was a soldier prior to the fall. 😘
