Célia Boisson

I hope you will do The Impossible before the end of the year, 2024-2004, 20 years already.

Gabriel

@emma That’s how I feel about the conjuring 🤷‍♂️

Gabriel

@23P23 41 I don’t« make stuff up » 🙄 that’s a legitimate criticism of mine, and the fact that’s you’re insinuating that’s I’m trolling just to get my way, is both very insulting and upsetting 😡 For the record, there have been several movie that I either didn’t like , or have no interest in. And I never complained to « have my way » , because the poll is the poll, whether or not my favourite picks were chosen. My problem with this one is that I truly believe that this movie have no place whatsoever in that specific poll. You disagree with my take on it, fine, but don’t you DARE question my integrity

emma

@gabriel well maybe if they make a dungeons and dragons movie about the creators of the game, then sure, it would count as “true story”

23p23 41

lmao i cant see a problem with Conjuring 2. It is both historical and true story. If the story is really true thats not our problem but Conjuring 2 movie is advertised as horror set in 1976 according to a true story. It doesnt matter if it is horror because it is falling anyway under both historical and true story If u dont wanna watch it if it wins then dont watch it. U cant always win but making stuff up just so u can pressure Rob and Trin to remove certain movie because u obiously dont like and have zero interest in watching is funny

Gabriel

@MSephirot Well, they are wrong lol. See my previous reply as to why I’m doubling down

Gabriel

@Emma To be fair, The conjuring is based on a « psychotic break ». The movie treat it as if their delusion is actually really happening, which makes it a fantasy horror film. This movie would have been « historical/based on a true story » if the movie was from the point of view that they have mental illness issues causing episodes of psychosis or schizophrenia… However, that’s not the case. It’s like saying that the movies from Dungeons & Dragon franchise are true stories, because it’s conceivable that players might have RP a campaign that was very similar to the film plot 🙄

MSephiroth

Because it's a drama and a biography, so it falls under it. A Google and IMDb search should answer this question quite easily to be honest.

emma

To be fair the conjuring is based on ed and Lorraine Warren (and greatest showman - pt Barnum) so technically both “historical”

Gabriel

I was talking about conjuring, but yeah that one too is iffy at best

Jan T

Agreed! 👏🏻

Oriana Lo Presti

But it's got nothing to do with the genre...

Dominic Palmer

Me too i really hope they choose the impossible

Oriana Lo Presti

Yeah ofc, it's just always going to be less popular because it's an international film (in Spanish), and new, so less people know about it. But many reactors have been getting around to it on YouTube... It's very impactful. Hopefully you get the chance to see it eventually.

Oriana Lo Presti

If you liked the impossible, I recommend society of the snow... Same director. Came out this year, instantly nominated for two oscars. Extremely impactful

Oriana Lo Presti

Yeah... I have no idea how the greatest showman has anything to do with the genre, unless I'm the one who is confused

Justin

Yeah the entitlement around here gets annoying

Gabriel

There should be someone who vet picks 😑 why is there a supernatural horror/thriller in the poll??? It’s not even part of genres asked by Rob and Trim for this month….. But furthermore, why does it have so many votes?????? It’s kinda passing me off that people don’t even care about the rules and setting and think they can mob whatever they want 😡

Wendy Sparks

It would be great to get another month of these because there's so many worthwhile movies. While also keeping a lot of variety in the mix.

RuinFox

the top 5 so far, i dont want to jinx it but its looking good for the first poll: Hidden Figures (2016) - 132 votes The Conjuring 2 (2016) - 127 votes Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) - 126 votes The Greatest Showman (2017) - 123 votes Zodiac (2007) - 110 votes

RegTravels

🤞🏾🤞🏾

WabbitTrax

One hell of a movie

TheGrouch74

Can we please stop trying to sway R&T's own picks just because your movie isn't doing so well folk's lol

Laura Downey

god the last samurai gets shafted every time. I really hope rob & trin do a personal pick for it one day, it's an amazing movie.

FedeM

I feel like it will never win unless they do a poll for musicals only

Schmaster

So many great choices. I can’t wait to see which ones win and which ones you guys pick

Kim Magee

The conjuring 2 is now in top 4 The impossible has dropped off, if it misses out I hope they choose it

zammmerjammer

Room (2015) is just brilliant. But it will never win a poll.

Kim Magee

Both great films

Anna Möllervärn

The Impossible

Jan T

The Impossible, Zodiac, A League of Their Own, and The King’s Speech are my hopes. But as usual, most will probably miss out. Master and Commander deserves to be doing better too.

Kim Magee

Come on greatest showman, I know they will love it, the cast alone, but such an incredible story too

Anika

Me too!

Anika

Here's hoping, yet again!

Wiehan Vdberg

Please i hope fury makes it 🙏🙏🙏

Kim Magee

The greatest showman is doing so well again :)

IsaMeM4RIO

Bohemian!

jac jacob israel

I recommended it half jokingly But now that's what I need

Beware The Jabberwock

🇺🇸🇬🇧🇫🇷🤞🏻

Take a Ticket

this is poll 1 and that movie had 11 likes, near the bottom. We can't include everything and have to split it up based on likes. Hope this makes sense ❤️

Bradley Weeks

We'll get it one of these days. Don't lose hope.

Bradley Weeks

I hope this is the month but "I'm willing to wait for it".

Oriana Lo Presti

Welp, I'll vote for the impossible then since it's the same director lol

Oriana Lo Presti

How come the society of the snow is not here? I saw other comment it

Jenny Lee Villanueva

The boy in the Striped Pajamas, Greatest Showman, Bohemian Rapsody and A League of their Own for my top 4 🫶🏾🏇

Salem

Well, you can vote for more than one! So both could technically make it.

Carrie Smith

Those were the two I was having the hardest time deciding between. Both are great!

Superpotroast

Great selection of films here..Gonna be happy with most of the ones that win..

Kamanda Hickey

Exactly what I thought. Too many great choices

Kamanda Hickey

The list is so eclectic , I would want you to review all of them 😅. American History C is a classic !

Jack's World

1917 let’s gooooo

Andy Walker

Conjuring 2 and Zodiac 🤞 All these films get reacted to constantly, let's get some variety lol

Salem

Please, please, please The Help and Hidden Figures 🩷

Vonnie Stewart

“I’ll never be satisfied” if they dont watch!! Wtf

Beware The Jabberwock

I hope Rob and Trin “don’t throw away this shot!” ❤️ Hoping they pick it as a wildcard if it doesn’t win. 🙏🏻

Beware The Jabberwock

Oh Bradley!!🤞🏻I am SO hoping this will finally be our month. 🙏🏻 We have rooted for this one for almost a year straight!! 🇺🇸🇫🇷🇬🇧

Kiara Rodriguez

Hoping for Hamilton! ✨

HappyFunJenn

Oh no!! There's too many great movies up against each other! Lol I'd love watching the reaction to more than a dozen of these and it's only the 1st poll! 🤣🩵

Vonnie Stewart

Lol they would so enjoy it! If they can figure out the fast rap haha

Anika

One of these days we'll make it! LOL!

Jordan Tanner

Hoping for Zodiac. I would love to see you guys do some A24 movies like The Lighthouse, The Green Knight, Men, Dream Scenario, Civil War, etc. They lean more indy, so they struggle in the polls.
