Christine
So many greats in these polls!
Miss Buji
Please please pleaseβ¦The Departed
Kim Magee
But would I prefer the impossible over gone Girl? Yeah definitely
Kim Magee
A lot of people thought it was drama on its own as an option so gone girl would have fallen into that and sometimes things that shouldn't get through get through. Last month we had a movie that got through that wasn't even in that time frame
Kim Magee
It is based on something that existed and how it got started,
Jan T
Yes, itβs wonderful!
Nicolas Garratt
Best one on there
Kim Magee
Definately one of the best
Kim Magee
Tom Hanks always so good, such an intense film
Kai
Saving Mr Banks is such a good watch if you watch Mary Poppins just before. Had me balling my eyes out a few weeks ago
MaggieS61
I voted for it. But so many people just donβt seem to want to watch older classics. Such a shame.
ShaniBee
idk what it is but the pianist has such a place in my heart. also gone girl lol π
Lee Shafer
I think you two would love hachi very much
Jenny Lee Villanueva
Yes!! I suggested it. Wish they pick it if it doesn't win ππ
Schmaster

What Dreams May Come is a friggin masterpiece....
PhoenixReturns
ughh, makes me so sad the amount of ppl that rate this worse than the original remake.
PhoenixReturns
its an awful remake

Captain Philips is pretty good. Only saw it once when it came out so I guess I'll vote for that
Oriana Lo Presti
Sameeeee. That or society of the snow. However, I'm fine with either one because I have a feeling that after watching one, they will def watch the other one. I guess we will see :)
Margaret
I thought it had a shot this time. Hopeing they might pick it as their pick. π€
Michelle Jackson
Love hachi
Mombi
I was just thinking today why doesnβt anyone react to Fried Green Tomatoes- one of my all time favorite movies!
Jenny Lee Villanueva
What Dreams May Come, please!! ππ
Oriana Lo Presti
It's a heavily fictionalized musical... It's extremely "loosely" based on something that existed, and everything else is made up. And gone girl, which is what my comment was about, is a thriller, not based on a true story at all.
Kim Magee
Well not instead of the greatest showman but I was hoping it would get in
Kim Magee
Me too
Kim Magee
Actually it does. The story is based around the barnum and Bailey Circus. It's drama. It's historic and it's loosely based around true story which most of them will be
Kim Magee
Done great film
JustJordan
Girl, Interrupted (1999) please be one of the winners! π
Jan T
Please vote for The Departed. ππ»
Jan T
Itβs certainly the best film on this list. π€π»
Oriana Lo Presti
To be honest I took it as "historial drama" anyway since it's based on true story as well. Even the walking dead is a "drama" but it made no sense to recommend that type of content. Like why is gone girl there? π And I love gone girl, I've even read the book, but they can get picked in their own genre.
Oriana Lo Presti
Eh, it is what it is. Hopefully they "redo" this genre after this one is done. Because these movies, like the greatest showman, have nothing to do with "true story/documentary" type, and it's a shame because there are some really good dramatic movies out there, but of course if the suggestions are a bunch of mainstream movies that have nothing to do with the actual genre, people are still gonna pick those. May the best ones win, and hopefully they try out this genre again sometime I the near future, being a bit more specific. Low key been waiting for this type of genre for a WHILE, and movies that have nothing to do with it make it in the top ππ€£
Jan T
I completely agree. I donβt understand why polite, respectful requests for clarification were just ignored. Very disappointing.
Jan T
Itβs there because of the confusion caused by the wording of the suggestion post. Itβs a shame that perfectly polite, reasonable requests for clarification were ignored.
Octavia
Personally, I think it really should've been clarified to historical drama or based on true story. Just 'drama' includes every other genre there is, except all out comedy.
Jan T
How depressing that A list movies like The Impossible and Zodiac were beaten out of a place by B grade schlock like The Conjuring 2. Bewildering. π
Oriana Lo Presti
Also... Love gone girl. Just confused how it has anything to do with the genreπ
Oriana Lo Presti
Damn was hoping for the impossible last one...
John Borek
