I know Deb is unfiltered and brash.... but I love that she has no pretenses at all. She needs to learn to be less reactive... but I think she mostly makes good moves as a cop. At least she hasn't solicited a prostitute who was undercover vice or used her work computer to do searches on suspects who will 'disappear'. Both of those things, in my view, have been dumber risks than anything Deb's done.

Dexter presented Galt to Miguel as a way of discouraging him. Which obviously failed. But still a win for Dexter in the end. Dex even said (to us) that Galt had been on his personal Top 10 for a long time... he just couldn't get to him since the guy was in prison. But still ordering murders from behind bars. The whole 'threats to my family' thing was a ruse so Galt would buy into the escape deal.

Dexter was the one who vetted Galt, he brought galt to miguel's attention, Miguel only said what he did to trick galt into thinking he had someone getting him out.
