I loved Rob continuous laughter at poor Rita's pregnant hormones 🤣😂

Brian Clancy

On rewatch of this, im wondering how tf Miguel didn't put together that Dexter was the Bay Harbor Butcher from the department, not Doakes LOL.

The First Crime Show I Got Into When Is Was 11 2013

If you like the psychology of this sort of show, I would recommend Criminal Minds. That is a long series for you. Featuring the FBI Behavioural Science Unit.

James

Method acting i guess

From the Dexter wiki: Witness the origins of America's favorite serial killer in never-before seen detail! Dexter: Original Sin, a 10-episode series that will air on Paramount+ with Showtime on Sundays starting December 2024. Dexter: Resurrection, a direct continuation starring Michael C. Hall, starts filming in January 2025. Before that be sure to catch up with Dexter (2006-2013) and 2021-2022 special event series Dexter: New Blood on Paramount+. Select episodes are also available on the official YouTube channel, releasing all summer on #FullEpisodesFridays. In case you were interested. I am currently reading the first book of the novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter. There are 8 novels. The Dexter series is based off the first one I believe, then veers off.

To be fair, Quinn has done some very shady stuff. Not actually filing any charges against Anton, but using that he has to make him a CI... but not really... then offering Anton up as bait. Joey obviously cuts corners. People are quick to blame Deb for giving Wendell her card, not knowing the killer was watching. Quinn covered up for a fellow cop's drug problem... then that cop had a bad shooting because of his problem. In my eyes, using that scale, Joey is more negligent than Deb... but less negligent than Dexter if Miguel kills any innocents.

i love deb but holy fuckk her being like so it is your fault to quinn is sooo crazy to me like huhhhh???😭😭

This episode almost ended Dexter the show. Somehow a real knife ended up on the set and Miguel accidently stabbed a stand in but thankfully hit a plastic plate there to protect him. That to me makes it more amazing how the actor totally went for it during the actual scene! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1242121/trivia/?item=tr1666923

I love how Dexter and Miguel buy their serial killer supplies at what is obviously a Walmart...that tracks lol

Jesse Borrego/George King, was later, as you saw, Efrain (aguar, aguar guy) in Fear the Walking Dead! ^^

Jenny Lee Villanueva

I don't think he was a bad guy in Fear, I believe he was the nice man that announces for the water that then Daniel had to torture.

I love Jimmy Smits, he was wonderful in the final seasons of The West Wing, but when he turned up playing Miguel in Dexter I feared, after the first couple of episodes, that he was going to be a significant complication for Dexter. Brilliant actor.

Calling your Lieutenant, Lieu (Loo) is generally a fond & common nickname. As Angel did with Maria. If anything happens to Ellen Wolf... it'll also be on Dexter for clearing the way for Miguel. There's been plenty of indications that Miguel has always been rotten under the charm. (Trying to bury the whole Chicky Hines thing was a big one. And the way he has seethed about Ellen has been deeply disturbing.)

I just checked out of curiosity, and marijuana is actually still illegal in Florida for recreational use, only legal for legitimate medical reasons. I'm in Alaska, and it is legal here. Fun fact (more fun than Sheldon's facts, I swear) is that I personally worked on the legislation to legalize it, when I worked for the Attorney General's Office. I mostly did legal research and editing/proofing of documents, but it was a really interesting project.

Janet

Oh my! These next episodes are epic!

The reason you get the bad vibes from the tree trimmer George King is that he plays the bad guy on Fear the Walking Dead. He was Efrain Morales.

James

Wow I can’t believe Miguel did that zero hesitation. In a very twisted way it’s wholesome I just hope he doesn’t lose himself, most serial killers take trophies from their victims (Dexter with the slides) so Miguel trying to take the ring would be his memento, I think Dexter didn’t cut that guys cheek because technically it wasn’t his kill

kimburley

Forgot how good this season was. So excited for Rob and Trin to see them all!! Woot!

Bradley Weeks

I didn't think I would enjoy a series with a serial killer as the protagonist. I guess I was wrong.
