Agreed... Because even my least favorite aspect of Dexter's life is still really good. The show makes it all compelling in different ways. I just prefer his familial dynamic with Deb more. I think that part of it is that I feel bad that Rita is living a giant lie. And if she knew, she would be horrified. And that whenever Dexter is with Rita and the kids... he's rarely present with them... he's more often thinking of other things. (And another part of it is that her breathy voice irritates me.)

That’s Funny because I actually like dexters home life with Rita and the kids more than when he’s doing police work and killing people. I think it’s really cool to see someone who can’t properly feel emotions playing the part of a loving family man

The music at the end is the Blood Theme (normally the music overlaying the ending credits) played backwards! Very eerie

Am I the only person who absolutely love all seasons of Dexter, even the weakest? Love them all, and of course s4 is the best of them all.

I honestly have no recollection of Dexter & Rita's wedding, besides knowing it was on. Perhaps because life with Rita is my least favorite aspect of Dexter. BUT... from the get-go of wedding planning... I thought that Deb was the obvious and only choice for Dexter's best man. She's hands down the best man or woman in his life. And I definitely think Deb should've been included in his bachelor party. I mean... what suits her more... hanging with the guys & drinking... or going out with Rita & Sil (which she might do, I have no clue)??

I actually think S3 holds together much better on rewatch. Originally, it didn't make a big impression on me... but now, in view of the whole series, it moves up. Particularly due to Jimmy Smits performance... and seeing this side of Laguerta.

Again Deb is being my favorite character using that vocabulary “Holy Jesus on a stick” is another line I will be remembering. Well RIP Miguel I guess he really needed to go he was a loose cannon and Deb being the best man is very wholesome

i'm the same way. i did enjoy it more watching this season through their reactions but i am SO GLAD to be onto s4 now

I love your reactions, but ngl I'm so glad we're gonna be done with S3. It's easily the least interesting season for me personally. I couldn't care less about the whole Prado/Skinner thing. S4 is my favourite, though, so I'm so excited for you to start it 😊
