I feel so bad for Avi because he really is a nice person who is doing what he feels is right. I also feel for Caroll because I know it's hard for her to keep up with her story especially because she never talks about her past. What a great start. I am loving it already.

I remember the episode Carl sang it in. Later, in season 11, Maggie's son Hershel sang it too. I wonder if Maggie taught the song to a young injured Carl when they were at the farm.

I don't know if it's because I'm French but it's definitely my favorite TWD spin-off! Talking about France throughout the episode I kept telling myself that the nature around Ash's place didn't look like the USA at all but look like the countryside I know and indeed at the end of the episode after the credits a little making off confirmed that the parts supposedly in the USA were indeed filmed in France !! As a TWD fan seeing the walker apocalypse in my country is so cool

It doesn't sit well with Carol either. You can see it not just in her face but questioning. Did he really want to do this? But at the end of the day she senses Daryl is in trouble and he is the only person that she really has a connection to in this world

Daryl Dixon is my favorite spin-off. I'm loving everything France, and how they're dressing Daryl in this series he doesn't look so grungy, dirty hence the neck tie. Can't wait until next episode

S02E07 was Nov 27, 2011. Shane was still alive. insane Sophia throwback. Been watching TWD since day one.. Great first episode. Tough lies from Carol. But maybe Ash will be happy with a new life, instead of sitting still. As Andy Dufresne put it "Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying"

I like that the song the music box was playing, - you are my sunshine- is the song that Carl sang for Negan. I thought it was interesting that Ash's son's name was Avi, which is Siddiq's name in real life.

yeah! Nice surprise. I love Carol so much. She's fascinating. She does whatever she needs to do to get the job done. I love that people underestimate her and she uses it.

I actually prefer Daryl Dixon over the ones who live and dead city but that’s just my opinion. As much as I love Rick and michonne I would say it’s the weakest of the 3 new spin offs I love carol to death but playing off that man’s guilt over his dead child to make him do what she wants doesn’t sit right with me. He seems like a genuinely good person, also to answer your question yes carol is claustrophobic, if you remember the cave episode from season 10. The reference to Sophia in the barn is an insane call back, I can’t believe you guys are actually watching this live with us now
