So under-rated this movie. Wish we could of gotten more sequels or even prequals.

Korivex

The father that your recognize is Otis from The Walking Dead.

Emmy

He's also in an epic movie called Identity

Emmy

I watched this first as a kid and then Matt Ryan's version later, but I think they both play great versions of the character 🥰

Nora

Woooo! Finally a movie I suggested!! 🥳🥳 it’s a good movie and I’m glad that you guys got to watch it! Keanu has been wanting to do the second part but it was just not possible, till recently apparently it’s gettin done. Can’t wait!! and thank you guys! Great reactions!!! 🫶🫶🫶

nellidex

yes you are right

Marisol Ferreira Simões

Rob, If I'm not remembering it wrong Balthazar is played by fellow British Gavin Rosedale at the time lead singer of Bush.

Cindy

I have also read that Reeves is a humble and kind man and generally every role he plays makes him the good guy. But, there is one movie, won't tell you and spoil it, in which he is a VERY bad man and he did that equally as well.

Cindy

His name is Pruitt Vince and he is mostly a television actor and has won an Emmy. Yes, he was in Stranger Things. I remember him because I really like his work.

Working Dead

Search Constantine 2 on IMDb. It is in production now.

Jenny Lee Villanueva

I didn't see the end credit scene before either

Jenny Lee Villanueva

Yes!!

Marisol Ferreira Simões

I could watch Keanu's Constantine every day of the week and twice on Sunday, for good measure!

Behrad

speaking of lucifer i hope you are going to start watching it at some point

Gabriel isn't a woman, not sure why you keep referring to him as 'her' just because Tilda Swinton is a woman. The whole reason she was cast is because she's the perfect amount of androgynous for the role. That's like her entire thing: being androgynous. Obviously also because she's a phenomenal actor, but yeah. Archangel Gabriel is definitively male. Angels in general are genderless, hence why Tilda was perfect for this role, but Gabriel is the male manifestation.

Constantine is a comic character and this movie isn’t really comic accurate BUT it’s such a vibe and I love it so much lmao also I have this movie on DVD and I’ve never seen the end credit scene til NOW?!?!!! There was also a tv show was called Constantine that more closely followed the source material but it’s with a different actor as Constantine and was kind of linked to CW DCEU TV SHOWS. It’s also pretty good but the movie has always been my favorite 😂

Kale

Correct! He has been asked numerous times if he could make a sequel to any of his films which would it be and his answer is always Constantine.

Amos T Fairchild

I think Keanu has been pushing for a sequel for years. I'm not sure I'll live long enough to see it. lol.

Anthony Ancona

According to ChatGPT, there will be a sequel to Constantine in 2026 or 2027. It will have Keanu Reeves and the same director Francis Lawrence. Also, nobody from the Matrix worked on Constantine.

Working Dead

If anyone is curious, the song being played when John enters the bar the first time is called Passive by A Perfect Circle. Great song.

Jenny Lee Villanueva

I've seen him in some series as special guest and I think he was on Stranger Things . And know him from movie identity. I also saw him when young really thin, but can't remember wich movie

Jenny Lee Villanueva

The priest at the start is Otis from the Walking Dead

I remember seeing this years ago, and really enjoying it. It’s good to see that it’s held up so well. Great cast and effects. Really enjoyed seeing it again, and glad Rob and Trin liked it. Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz Also starred together in the 1996 film Chain Reaction. They make a good team.

Octavia

I love Keanu (who doesn't?)... so I'm looking forward to watching this for the 1st time. I never checked it out before because in my mind... Matt Ryan (from the Constantine tv series & Legends of Tomorrow) is John Constantine. But R&T make everything more compelling. Plus, it's Keanu.

Landon DuVall

Otis from the walking dead! I've never seen him in anything else

Emmy

I love this movie so much. I don't know how long ago it was, but Keanu did an interview and they asked him if he'd ever had a character he wanted to play again but didn't get the chance, and he said Constantine. It sort of sparked online hype for the possibility of a sequel and they have apparently finished the script and Keanu is on board to reprise his role. The character of Constantine first appeared in DC comic books in June 1985. He was just a side character at first and then got his own story, due to his popularity, in 1988.
