Absolutely 100% correct, but I also think she is being a "nag". I think it's on purpose that she is this way. We love Dexter sooo much we want him to be "happy" and she's making things "difficult".

In what way? She's just finally reacting to the fact that Dexter is a pathological liar. Nothing she does or says in response to his constant lies is unreasonable. It's pretty reasonable to be annoyed and disappointed in your partner if you find out they're hiding a whole apartment from you, and lying all the time. He doesn't listen to her, he zones out when she talks, he lies constantly (only we, the audience, know that he *has* to), he goes missing for hours to do what he does. I'd say she's pretty bearable and reasonable tbh.

If I were Dexter, I'd just tell them I use that apartment for my wild parties and illegal card games, but that would be another lie....I don't play poker...

Dirty Harry is a movie (the first in a series) with Clint Eastwood as a cop (Inspector 'Dirty' Harry Callahan) who pursues & deals out his own type of justice. A lot of Dexter's episode titles reference movie or song titles.

The opening is one of my faves... with Dexter distraught about Deb. "If Deb dies... I'll be lost." Best relationship for me are the Morgan siblings. Adore their bro-sis dynamic. I just don't see that depth with Rita. Michael & Jennifer are just higher caliber together. (Even after they divorced, they still were so core together.).

Deb’s performance here was something else. About Rita, she is the proof that you never need to yell or be agitated to prove your point. I really like that about her.

Jennifer Carpenter is the actress who plays Deb. I was just thinking the same about her performance right before Rob mentioned it. I know it's too late for Spooktober but if you haven't seen it she plays the title role in The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Her performance is chilling wether you believe or not. You might want to consider watching it.
