Day 942 of asking for Equilibrium! Not only do I think Rob will LOVE it, it’ll expose a massively underrated sci fi movie! Christian Bale, Sean Bean, and so many others you’ll recognise from the walking dead, Lost, Prison Break! It was the original John Wick!!!!!!!!!

Ninaofthe90s

That's not Stellan Skarsgard, it's Brendan Gleeson. You saw him in Braveheart, Edge of tomorrow and in Harry Potter as Mad-Eye Moody.

Crusader

they only have 2 movies to see, the other movies haven't been released yet

Bram Fatman Hènry

You know it’s been such a long time since we caught up with the MCU you’ve got about 30 new films to watch 😂

HeauxHalter

who cares if it's a female lead or not.....

Cindy

I tried watching Barbie. Got maybe 1/4 into the film but had enough. I might try it again with Rob & Trin, but doubt it. I agree we need more movies made prior to 2000. One of my favorite comedies is Ruthless People 1986.

Terri

YES! Long Kiss Goodnight is such an underrated movie. And Pitch Perfect is fun. I can't do Barbie, but hope you guys enjoy it. Overall, at least we got some great picks this month. So so happy about A Long Kiss Goodnight. We need more 90's or 80's movies. That's what I'd love to see. There are SO MANY older movies that are great. There is just something different about that era of film!

Kamanda Hickey

Maybe next time ☺️

Kamanda Hickey

I was expecting picks from female leads but Goodfellas ??! oh well, I am excited! What a great choice 🤩

AlexH88

Can’t get over bridesmaids never made it hah

Kim Magee

Really excited for Barbie and pitch Perfect, The Aussies are representing LOL, also, pretty much love everything with Tom Cruise in it. So Mission impossible. Yay!

Tay

Can't wait till we get to Goodfellas

Jenny Lee Villanueva

Amazing!!! Wow Long Kiss Goodnight!! Awesome 💜💜💜

Ayleids

Prometheus and Goodfellas 🥰

Cindy

TMI!

Cindy

One big difference is Goodfellas is based on a true story

AnGeLuS

Greta Gerwig made a good film with Barbie. She often makes films with a good message. Lady Bird was good too.

BadCode

Don't know why some are down on BARBIE. There's good reason that it was a juggernaut with OPPENHEIMER. It's a brightly colored satire that pokes fun even at itself --- while also having deeper themes. It has a very relevant and universal message that's sharply done in a fun way. Looking forward to all the female forward movies + Mission Impossible and Goodfellas.

Octavia

It would be great for October.

Gabriel

Happy death day got edged out by 3 votes 😢 But oh well, every time it’s ending higher and higher in the poll, I hope it’ll make the cut next time.

Nathan Taylor

Goodfellas 😭😭😍 great pick!!

Wesleybucks

Hyped for pitch perfect, Barbie and old school mission impossible

Ninaofthe90s

yes Mission Impossible !!!! Finally 😍 can't believe you haven't seen this!

will Hancock

I love this month. wish twilight would have made it in.

Nathan Roe

Mission Impossible might be the first film since War of the worlds that i watch with Tom Cruise in, something about that guy just rattles me, Goodfellas is a S Tier pick though!

Octavia

Happy to watch all poll winners and R&T picks! Great variety of genres. Yay for 'Long Kiss Goodnight' finally having its day (or night)... I haven't seen it in many years, but always really liked it. Thanks to all.

Reavezz

They will end up doing the full franchise im almost certain, cuz as we've gotten to watch movies with R+T over the years, we know how much Mission Impossible is right up their alley so they'll def want more

Reavezz

People that aren't a fan of him in real life due to his beliefs need to start being able to separate their life from their characters. He is objectively a top tier action star and has been one for decades. They are gonna LOVE the mission impossible series, and yet they can still disagree with the actor's irl stuff separately.

Illia Kamenetskyi

Glad to see Mission Impossible. Hoping for the whole franchise over time

blorgins

PHENOMENAL options this month

FedeM

not a fan of the cruise.... but everything else this month is peak! Will keep hoping for Promising Young Woman for some other time but thank you to all the poll voters and to Rob and Trin for these picks!

FedeM

They watched it on their own if I remember correctly

Take a Ticket

The Long Kiss Goodnight is from the poll and the others are movies that are long overdue and we need to get them done at some point anyways.

Kris_Loso

Anybody know why they never watched Secret Invasion?

Cindy

Rob & Trin your picks are perfect. I like all four. Poll picks not so much, but I recognize we all have different tastes. Thank you so much for The Long Kiss Goodnight. Love that movie. Thank you, thank you.

Flopsi80

I thought you would pick movies from the poll. I had high hopes for the Rob and Trin picks. But this makes no sense for me. Only one movie I like this month. 😑

Laura Dawson

Excited to see Barbie and The Long Kiss Goodnight on there!

James

CAPTAIN AMERICA!

Shelley

Nobody believes it's about them alone. People can express their opinions on films they do or didn't want on the poll. That's what a poll is for? There's been no disrespect , I'm grateful it didn't win because the films chosen are more my taste , what's wrong with saying that? X

Shelley

I've never seen goodfellas but I'm a huge The godfather fan so hoping I'll enjoy that one, heard its similar...ish🙏🏼

Foof

Great mix thank you. Every month always something different even if it's not always my cup of tea. Think 'some' patreons forget it's not just about them alone. Everyone has different likes and it's nice to see a mix all the time. You (Patreons) may not be interested in every single thing 👀
