the defenders shows are all linked, saying to watch them individually is like saying to watch all iron man movies, then all captain america movies, then all spider man movies, then all thor movies etc... it just doesnt work that way, there is an order

I'm glad you are doing ALL the Netflix shows. So many commenters scare off people from watching Luke Cage and Iron Fist. The first half of LC season 1 is great, as well as season 2. Iron Fist, while bad, still has really fun moments that make the initial watch through so fun. Plus it'll make The Defenders so much better. Can't wait!

I second this. If you do decide to do it, watch the director's cut. It's got more Ben Urich and has a better flow. Still "meh" compared to this version, but would be fun to see even a rewatch with context now.

Agree. It’s a bit more of a slow build than this season of DD but man when it gets into it (especially when HE shows up) damn is it good. Definitely one of the best villains ever!

Yup, Jessica Johnes is awesome, I knew the actress from something else, Rob at least will know her too, the Villain is also a very good one. Jessica is a strong female character, the way they are supposed to be done, no toxicity, no in your face stuff, just good story, flaws, humanity and the classic hero's journey, the show should be an example for writers.

FYI Mitchell Ellison, Ben's Boss/Friend was never involved with Fisk. They just assumed he might be as someone from that workplace had to have spied for Fisk. Later we find it was a woman who had been bts.

Bro that scene with Leland was incredible the balls on that man are HUGE! I honestly liked how he was putting Fisk in his place it was badass. It was cool to see daredevil finally in his costume, I’m honestly looking forward to the other shows coming up, I’ve never seen any of them so it’ll be exciting

Jessica Jones is great you’ll love it! Personally love j. Jones, punisher, and DD the most. And while people have their dislike for defenders or one of the other shows I definitely don’t think you guys will dislike any of them which is why I urge patience on everyone trying move you along to their preferred taste.

Loved this season of Daredevil. Great show. But I’m also really looking forward to Jessica Jones and The Punisher. This is probably an unpopular opinion, but The Defenders didn’t work for me. But I understand all the shows have to be seen by Rob and Trin, before moving on to Daredevil season 3.

Honestly, if you guys did season 1 of jessica Jones, then daredevil season 2, then defenders, then daredevil season 3, I feel like that would be pretty sufficient.

I had never heard of Jessica Jones going into these shows when they came out and she ended up being one of my favorites in the whole MCU, not to even mention the rest of the characters in her show. I think you both will really enjoy it!

also, about ellis (the editor of the newspaper): i think that scene was suppose to show that the "mole" who was working with fisk wasn't actually him - it was the lady who got arrested.

Like I said before, you guys aren’t obligated to watch EVERY Marvel Netflix show. For the time being, we’re fine with just Daredevil. At any rate, this is one of my favorite season finales for any show that I ever watched. My favorite moment in this episode has to be the final fight. Their styles are complete opposites. Fisk uses brute force like a charging bull, but it also makes predictable. Matt is faster, but he always needs to be on the move or he’s left wide open for attack. Out of all the Marvel Netflix shows, the music in this one is the closest to the usual heroic Marvel music that we’re used to. The outfit Matt wears in this show is much better than the one he would eventually wear in She-Hulk.

JESSICA JONES HELL YEAH. Sorry didn’t know you were gonna do the whole defenders Saga. Daredevil Season 2 is right after JJ, so won’t be too long. Jessica Jones Season 1 hits different. They introduce probably one of the best portrayed marvel villains in the show. It’s fantastic and a good change of pace but still a little gritty like DD.
