The guys in the barbershop steal the show for me, they are so freaking funny!

This is classic 80s !!!! I love this movie. But when it came out I wasn’t allowed to see it bc it was rated R 😂 I had to wait a few years or either waited until it was on tv where they censored out all the bad words and boobies 😂

Lucky !!!!! 😍😍😍

Amazing film, a personal favourite :) Here's a clip of Eddie being transformed in to 'Saul' in the barber shop too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiB9CVDPhAE

His barking would be wife at the beginning, was just on Dexter "Practically Perfect "

I love this movie so much. It’s over the top but so fun. Like you said Rob, it feels like a Christmas movie.

Not sure if you noticed, but the Trading Places theme music actually played in the background of the scene when Akeem gives money to Randolph and Mortimer Duke. Also, both movies were directed by John Landis. His signature is that somewhere you will see or hear a reference to a fake film called See You Next Wednesday (which itself is a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey). In Trading Places, it was on a poster in Jamie Lee Curtis' apartment. In this movie it was on a poster in the subway station, which shows Jamie Lee Curtis and Dan Aykroyd in the cast. It's even in the music videos for Michael Jackson's Thriller and Black or White, both of which Landis directed.

His name is Vondie Curtis-Hall and he is multitalented. He originated the role in Dreamgirls on Broadway that Eddie Murphy later played in the film. Most importantly, he directed the Firefly episode Our Mrs. Reynolds, where Mal first meets Yo-Saff-Bridge. 😁

Back in the 1990s... I had to step over George Michael's backside when he was kneeling in an aisle at Tower Records on Sunset Blvd.

Hailing from Los Angeles… and the weirdest celebrity sighting I’ve had recently was doing a double take at the actor who plays the Apt Manager at the Farmers Market the other day! I heard his voice and turned around and there he was! Sometimes it’s weird living in LA. Tv and real life intertwining.

Dude

There is a great movie starring Eddie Murphy called Coming to America. You should react to it.

They've seen Beverly Hills Cop 1. You can find it in the movie list

Fun to watch with my coffee this morning

GREAT REACTION!!! Now, sticking to the Eddie Murphy rabbit hole sequence, you have to eo Beverly Hills Cop 1&2 (the last 2 are extremely forgettable) You will absolutely love Eddie Murphy as Axle Foley!!!
